White Lily

L'accoglienza dell'host è stata fantastica. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato nel frigo due bottiglie di acqua, dolci fatti in casa e salatini. Alloggio al primo piano completamente ristrutturato, con infissi e zanzariere nuove e funzionanti, alloggio molto luminoso con terrazzo su due lati. Parcheggio auto riservato in strada. Cucina perfettamente attrezzata, completa di ogni accessorio, anche la grattugia e lo scolapasta! Presenza di forno, piastra ad induzione e macchina del caffè. Lavatrice con i comandi in greco ma molto utile durante il nostro soggiorno! Asciugamani morbidi e teli mare in dotazione. Nel bagno kit di cartaigienica, assorbenti donna, ciabatte per la doccia, detersivi, bagnoschiuma e phon. Condizionatori sia nella zona giorno che nella camera da letto. Ombrellone a disposizione offerto dall'host insieme ad altri dolci il giorno dopo a colazione :) Finalmente un terzo letto accogliente (dotato di morbido topper) per il nostro figlio di 11 anni e non il solito divano letto duro!

Pur essendo in una strada secondaria, segnaliamo il frequente passaggio di motorini (era giugno e si dormiva splendidamente con le finestre aperte senza dover utilizzare il condizionatore di notte).

Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons hier helemaal thuis. Alles was brandschoon, tot in de puntjes verzorgd, en de sfeer was heerlijk huiselijk. De eigenaren zijn een super leuke familie die je met open armen ontvangt en een echt warm familiegevoel geeft. Op wandel afstand van het strand, makkelijke uitvalsbasis om Kreta te verkennen én parking voor de deur! Elke dag werden we getrakteerd op snacks en desserts, een attente en lieve verrassing die ons verblijf nog specialer maakte. Het zijn van die kleine dingen die het verschil maken en die je doen voelen alsof je bij familie logeert. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden White Lily zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Een plek waar gastvrijheid, warmte en comfort perfect samenkomen – en waar je zeker met een glimlach weer vertrekt!

Close to the beach, grocery store, bakery and the highway. Also, the apartment was well furnished with kitchen essentials and 2 air conditioning units. It also had a wraparound balcony with an overhang to provide shade. And lastly, the hosts treated us like family, providing everything we needed for our stay.

Nothing

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and sociable. This is like coming home to your Cretan family! A range of Cretan treats was waiting for us. The apartment is well equipped and cosy. It has a fire place that we used on one occassion, adding to the ambiance. It is within easy reach of the Rethymnon old harbour and Venetian fort. If you don't mind a good walk, you can follow the waterfront

Located in a residential area it has the normal buzz of everyday life. For us this wasn't an issue but do not expect a beautiful serene scenery from your balcony. We were there in winter, but when you stay in summer, expect mass-tourism nearby!
