It was elegant and had character. Beautiful hardwood floors & luxury bathroom. Appreciated the care taken with the entrance hall & stairs. Great location off the square and looking out at the church.

We would have used a washing machine if there had been one. The church bells were loud but we enjoyed them very much!

The location was amazing!

The lack if seating. It would be great if there was a sofa or easy chairs. Definitely don’t try to sleep with the windows open as the street noise is very loud. The church bells were charming at first but again I definitely recommend closing the windows. Also more pillows and more than 1 towel per guest would be great.

Location is fantastic - Varenna is lovely and this apartment is right in the heart of things. We loved the Italian feel of the accommodation - even the Church bells and this really enhanced our stay. The bathroom is amazing. Really nice to have central heating. Staff were easy to contact and helpful with travel/taxi information.

Lack of comfortable seating (already mentioned in previous reviews and we did request an additional comfortable chair on arrival - we were told this would be looked into but heard nothing more). Creaky bed - needs attention and the bed slides away from the wall. Another couple of pillows would be nice. Kitchen would benefit from more equipment, specifically cereal bowls and a drainer - also simple clear instructions for the microwave/oven (book provided was very complicated). It was strange that the only space to hang clothes is in the cleaning cupboard - given the number of cupboards in the hallway.
