Excellent location but the property could do with some improvements

The location is fantastic, so close to the town square and all that Varenna has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival.

The property smells of damp and it’s visible up the walls in the lounge and kitchen. There are lots of little things that would improve the property, like towel hooks being in reach, a toilet roll holder, the wardrobe rails being in reach (there is a pole to access them which is hard). It rained heavily the day we arrived and the windows were left open so the floor needed mopping. The small bathroom is tiny and has no bench space, there is a big deep drawer on the vanity which we tried to use but it’s broken and hanging by the hinges. The bed is incredibly noisy with every movement. Please note this property would not suit anyone with mobility issues as it is up many stairs.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Varenna

Nice apartment, close to train station and the centre of Varenna. Also, there is an excellent chip shop just across the road!

Great location but would not stay here again due to the flaking wall paint, puddles of water / wall leaks and uncomf

Good location

Dirty - walls were flaking off paint and there appears to be a leak in the walls as it was wet / puddling water. Y the floors. The paint flaking off is gross. The bathroom down hits the cabinet so you have to force it closed. The sofa bed is so uncomfy, squeaks every time you move the slightest and you can hear everything coming from next door. The linen didn’t feel clean for the sofa bed too. It needs to be updated

Perfect stay for couples in Varenna

Great location!! A perfect room for 2 couples as we had our own bedrooms and bathroom each. Also a great little courtyard for enjoying some vinos in the afternoon. A well appointed kitchen and even Netflix. Great communication from the staff and we were given a little booklet of vouchers for discounts at some great restaurants in Varenna. Great aircon in every room

A very slightly musty smell when we arrived but was gone as soon as the aircon on or doors opened. Otherwise it was fantastic

Very good

Lovely fully equipped apartment, inc umbrellas, very close to the square in Varenna. Efficient air conditioning, tv, pretty patio with rattan furniture, everywhere very clean.

No drawers or wardrobe in the 2nd bedroom though there is a narrow cupboard. No shelf for soap/shampoo in either shower; shower cubicle very small (I am size 12 UK) so bending down for toiletries a tight squeeze. It’s 50 steps up to apartment but we are joggers so not a problem for us.
