Our stay at Antlers Rest was one of the highlights of our trip to the Isle of Skye. The house was spotless, spacious, and incredibly well-equipped, making it perfect for our group of four. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of room to relax after long days exploring the island.
The location was ideal, just a few minutes from Portree, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true Highland retreat. Our favorite part of the stay was watching the resident red deer. They visited the field outside every single day, and it became something we looked forward to each morning and evening. Sitting in the living room with a cup of coffee while watching the deer against the backdrop of the mountains was simply magical and made our stay feel uniquely Skye.
Communication from the hosts was excellent, and check-in was simple and seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book Antlers Rest again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-appointed home with unforgettable wildlife and beautiful Highland views.

The house was even better than we anticipated. We had 7 family members and used all 4 bedrooms. The accommodations were wonderful. Everything was as promised and certainly lived up to the high rating. Just one thing, and this was probably user error on my part: I thought there was only one bathroom! Antler’s Rest advertised a large family bathroom. What I completely missed is that two of the bedrooms had en suites! The scenery was beautiful and we had red deer milling around right outside our windows.
Our host communicated ahead of time, giving us good information, excellent directions, and very helpful recommendations for the area. This was much more than we expected and we thank you!
I can’t think of a single negative thing to say.
