Superb accommodation overlooking the Skye bridge and distant snow covered hills. Warm and inviting it provided everything we required for our short stay. Located minutes from the bridge it was ideally located to let us explore the beautiful scenery and excellent distilleries. Superb 👌

Spotless, cozy, and incredibly well thought-out - our only regret was not staying longer.

The property was modern, comfortable and had all the facilities imaginable - everything was carefully thought about. The bathroom was incredibly spacious, and the rooms were cozy and warm. The place was spotless - no complaints!

The only thing I can say I regret about staying here is that I didn’t book for longer!

Perfect stay

The location is perfect, with amazing mountain views but at the same time close to shops and restaurants. Warm and cozy. We felt like we were at home. Clean and equipped with everything you might need.

The only disadvantage I found was the gap between Check In and Check Out. I understand the property needs time for cleaning but would be perfect if time is adjusted a bit. 4pm is too late for the check in. Specially in winter time.

A piece of heaven and a gem of a find

Definitely made the perfect choice. Extremely clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Extremely well located and 5 mins away from massive CoOp or 15 mins away from Asda. Took our two dogs and absolutely one hundred percent dog friendly. Loved the small important details to attention. The nightlight you can move around to light up the stairs. The extra heater , extra fans. The windows ALL have blinds and even Midge screens on everyone. Ive read lots of reviews and ive noticed things people have put as a negative the owners have acted positively to their feedback. Example mirrors now in bedroom. The portable dryer for clothes ( not an electric one but a rack which dried our clothes adequately) tick box. Thank you so much for being so attentive to detail.

That we didnt book for a week lol or meet the owners as the emails we got and communication about how to get there, how to check in etc was so extremely warming and i woukd loved to have congratulated them personally.

Quaint and cosy stay, perfect for a weekend escape!

The set up was great and perfect for two people with a small dog. The ability to control the heating was great, the shower room was lovely and clean, fab facilities with the cooking and washing appliances too. The area was lovely and quiet to, with wonderful views of the nearby village and mountains.

The glass partition on the shower doesn’t quite reach far enough to stop water going on the floor so but nothing a bath mat can’t solve!

very quiet location but easy access to main road, easy travel distance/time to visit sights. walkable distance to Sky Bridge and local village, 15-20 mins from Eileen Donan Castle, just over an hour to ferry at Uig short distance to local supermarket and fuel station at Broadford.

The house was clean and cozy, in a good location. With a few wee tweets to the cottage it would be much better.

Poor WiFi which we complained about. Hazel cottage was missing a number of key things like a mirror in the bedroom. Very little storage for clothes in the bedroom. Only one bedside table. Shower screen isn’t wide enough so it floods the bathroom. No information about appliances, no guestbook.

Quiet stay, Amazing morning/evening view, fully equipped cozy stay

the pictures in the website shows the exact interior look of the property! Personally i love the kitchen (kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, small fridge, cooking pots, cooking pans, electric stove, cooking utensils, knife, scissor, bottle opener, dishwashing detergent & dishwasher powder-inside cupboard) and the washing machine (hanger and soap powder available). It's perfect for solo traveller or couple who want to have quiet area to stay in (no restaurant nearby,but the view is amazing) and have a car or have access to supermarket to get the cooking material in order to full utilize the kitchen. Instant coffee, French coffee press and tea bags are available. No cooking oil, salt/pepper but no issue to me as i brought some small packs of butter/salt/pepper with me, also the cooking pans are non-stick type. I brought a hotel indoor slipper with me so I have no major issue having the toilet/bathroom downstairs, as the staircase and upstairs are all carpeted. Overall, the property is new & cozy. I stayed during early October, so the heater was not utilized, instead i left the 3 windows upstairs a small opening to allow cold air to come into the property and use the fan for further circulation when I'm in the property, closing the window when I left the property for my activities. Blinds for privacy is available at/on the window itself and easy to operate, except there is no blind for the window in the toilet/bathroom, but the outside view seems blurred somehow (I did not verified from the outside personally when someone else is in the bathroom). Love the towel heater inside the toilet, feels good to use slight warm towel. I didnt really use the TV upstairs but the couch is comfy to sit on. The bed is of queen size and could be small if the couple both is of big size. There is some vertical hanging piping that act like an open wardrobe to hang clothes and hangers are available.

The WIFI. Connected but not functional. Depend on my own roaming data only, not a big deal to me though.

Ideal location near the Skye Bridge; easily accessible with good parking. Impressive kitchen and living room, with good views over to the Kyle of Lochalsh.

Felt a little grubby in places. Kitchen and living room stunning but bathroom wasn’t the cleanest; black mould on the ceiling and thick dust on the blinds. There’s also a loose piece of flooring laminate in the living room that moves when you stand on it, posing a trip hazard and the glass in the log burner was cracked… not sure how safe it was to use. Nothing particularly bad - just not amazing either.

The cottage is not the same as the barn converted apartments! Beware - It is dirty and in disrepair. Not what is advertised. We asked for a refund of £565 for the night and was refused. Do not stay here!

Peaceful stay in a comfortable apartment.

Comfortable newly finished apartment with all the amenities required during our stay. We enjoyed the peaceful environment of the area. Good WiFi and entertainment Smart TV system.

Missing fine details to make this property amazing. No bed side switch or light to switch on/off from the bed. No control over the heating system. Price compared to the size of the actual cabin is on the high side but I guess it is the same for the rest of Isle of Skye. The area around the car parking area needs a tidy up but I think guess it's part of the refurbishment process.

Convenient and clean

It was nice and clean and modern and in a great location. It was lovely and quiet too.

It honestly felt a little unfinished with nails sticking out of the walls and stickers on the appliances. If I had small kids I would be nervous about them hurting themselves and getting splinters on some of the raw wood edges. It was also lacking a few essential kitchen tools. I’d say it wasn’t amazing value for money considering it was around £200 a night.

Great view and kitchen but for the price it fell short.

Great location and easy to follow instructions for parking. Signs all around the cottage was helpful for foreigner travel. The kitchenette and view was the best feature.

I appreciate the host leaving signage around the place it was really helpful. However, we could not figure out the heater or a/c system. We used the sign provided but could not turn off the heater. Perhaps better instructions. The cottage was very hot and due to the midges we did not want to open the windows. The shower was either ice cold or scorching hot, it took some work to figure out the balance. There should be signage warning of the hot water as a caution. There was a smell, in the double room. Like a wet mildew smell. Air freshener was there but did not help.

Great place!

Completely stunning stay on the isle of Skye. Very close to the bridge. We decided to arrive in Skye early, travel around the island then come back here. We stayed in Rowan house. There were 4 adults and the cottage had plenty of room for us all. Clean and comfortable. Dishwasher, washing machine were a bonus. You could quite happily stay for a week. Very happy. Was a tad expensive for one night but lovely non the less.

We felt the cottage could have done with a bit of finishing off. The doors in both bathrooms and one upstairs bedroom didn't close fully. There were a few other bits which would have made it 10/10. We didn't have much communication with the property. But we were super happy overall and still loved our visit. So thank you ❤️.

PATHETIC PROPERTY

Nothing atall. Quite bad property

Firstly it doesnt have a view tht it claims yes very far away across farm you can see the ocean but its like quite far its neither on ocean nor on lake. so view part is totally misleading. Secondly horribly small property. Pathetic small bed can fit only 1 person tht too not fat i am talking about medium built. And a baby at mac. The sofa bed was uncomfortable pathetic and dingy. Horrible to say the least. And last but not the least the property is surrounded by minje (small sting flies) the moment u open door 1000 of them fly in with you. and the caretaker doesn’t care about it if you call them. ITS A TOTAL JOKE calling this as a stay. I was robbed by booking.com i paid 1000 pounds for 2 nights stay here. PLEASE BE AWARE ITS A SHAM. ITS CRAPPY FOR THAT PRICE.

Scam and fraud that will ruin your trip in Scotland

Rude host rang the door bell right at 10AM, and shouted at us that we have to leave the property immediately, otherwise, we will be charged for £50 per 15 minutes. Family and I already packing up at that moment, and the host still insisted not giving us 15-20 minutes of allowance. It’s so disappointing and angry that she didn’t show any empathy in such situation. Besides, photos are not reflecting the reality. Lights is dimmed, decoration is old, full of dust. The sofa bed is super uncomfortable and seems to be broken easily. TV didn’t work properly and without any support from host.
