The cabin was beautifully designed, furnished and cosy warm. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed for our short stay with loads of complimentary items, including a blanket and treat for our dog. Very welcoming!!!
Nothing, we loved everything

The stay was really good more than we expected. It’s like more relaxed feel apart from all the huzzles from city. Also i wants to mention the beautiful mornings there it was very exceptional with the sound of birds and the sheep and the river view with mountains. And wants to mention the facilities in stay also that all the necessary things are the there for cooking. Totally recommended ❤️🤌
Nothing to say

Full of charm and great location
It’s a wooden building - for the time of year late October a real fire would have been nice but we knew it didn’t have one when booking

The location is incredible. Waking up with the view of the misty mountains was magical. The forest sorrounding it made for a great nocturnal walk. The wooden interior and the mcDonald tartan sofas makes you feel incredibly cozy. I loved the books about Skye’s history. It helped a lot to immerse more in an already magical place. The staff was also great and helpful.
I have only one request: the knives needed to be sharpened ;)

We liked the cottage, the vibe, the view. It is very well equiped and lovely decorated.
We didn’t like the smell — it got into all our clothes. Because the cottage isn’t regularly heated, there’s a noticeable damp or musty odor. It would probably help if the cottage were heated in advance and the windows opened before guests arrive, so the smell wouldn’t be as strong.

The lodges are very nice, comfortable and the scenery is beautiful.
We got in just after 5pm (so dark outside). We got settled in and decided to have toast. Plugged the toaster in and the fuse blew. In complete darkness looked for the circuit breaker and a phone number to call. Tried the phone number given in the book and said messages full so couldn’t leave a message. After 30 minutes we eventually found the circuit breaker that was behind a board that was behind a sofa. Decided to try a different socket for the toaster but it sparked and tripped the lights again and blew the fuse the toaster was plugged in to. Again tried to call number and couldn’t get thru. Obviously by this time we know where the fuse box was. Following day (the Sunday) left 2 messages regarding the situation and it is now Monday and still waiting on a phone call. I’m more concerned for the safety of the next guests using this toaster!

This place is amazing, the property was very clean and comfortable, also I want to say thank you for a present (bottle of vine), the view is amazing 🤩. Also I can’t not to mention that people in this town were very friendly, kind and very helpful, they helped us when we went be able to find the property and the right code they found a number at night and helped to get the right code, thank you very much 🤗. You are the best❤️

Location was excellent with outstanding views looking towards Mallaig from the Sleat peninsula on Skye
Potholes on road to property from the main road

Beautiful surroundings, comfortable with all mod-cons.
Sadly the storm cut us off - but that is not a criticism of the accommodation nor the provider.

ideal location for graduation at SMO.
It was the w/e of Storm Amy, and we lost electricity on Friday evening.
Also there were trees down on the road to Forester's Cottage and we had to walk through a couple of fallen trees in the dark. Quite exciting.
However, the young men with chain saws to clear the road were out early. I have to commend Kath, rep of Armadale estates who sorted out another cabin with a generator so that our Saturday night was warm and comfortable. She was very helpful and responsive-- and spoke good Gaelic. Gold Star+++

should be very close to the ferry termimnal. originally we tend to take the ferry to skye island and that's why we chose to stay in this hotel. however, the ferry tickets were sold out thus we went thru the skye bridge to armadale. it took around 20 mins to the hotel from skye bridge by driving. still convenient. but i believe that it will be more convenient if you take the ferry to reach there.
if time allows, can go to the armadale castle which you can reach there by walking.

Views, games, refrigerator AND freezer
Carpet and creeky floors.
We had trouble getting the door open and could not reach property manager. A neighbor rescued us.

Nice location but a bit of a hike to get to most restaurants and sights on the Isle of Skye

The cabin was very cozy and felt like a home away from home right away. Nice touches of games and local interest books as well as a well stocked kitchen. The views were amazing and my family loved the castle with gardens and playground we never would have discovered without choosing to stay here. So lovely!
The pricing was a little high compared to other options and about on hour from most places people come to Sky to see. However, we loved the cabin and location overall.

The setting was brilliant. Lovely welcome from Cathy. Views across the sea, watching the ferry come and go - when the weather allowed which for us most of the time. Superb pub food down the road.
No cork screw!! The local shop came to the rescue 😅.
Lack of plug sockets. Not sure why some were blanked off.
I think I left 2 wrist bands in the cabin. One with magnetic catch, the other with single shell on it. Sentimental value and attachment. If you find them please post them to me. Thank you. 😀

The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything including a dishwasher. There is tea, coffee, salt, sugar and spices. The place is very beautiful on the seashore in the forest. It is conveniently located for traveling around the island. Nearby (5 minutes by car) there is a restaurant where they cook delicious food. Check-in is very well organized. I recommend this place for those traveling to Skye.

The cabin was charming and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wines and shortbread provided by our host. It was the perfect place to rest and relax after a long day of hiking and driving. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

The bottle of wine in the refrigerator. The quality of the emplacement. Unrestrained access to the park, easy access to the sea, the food store, and the gas station. The amazing sense of service of Elizabeth.
The presentation page makes us think that we'll get a cottage and does not make it clear that two apartments are also available. Even though I think we were better off in the apartment we were in, I was initially disappointed. No harm done.
Most of the iconic spots of the island are more up North.

I liked everything: very comfortable apartment, spacious, bright, clean and really comfortable. Nice and homey feeling, comfy beds, great living room space where you can enjoy your evening with companions. The surrounding gardens, forest and the castle grounds are amazing and included in your stay! I specifically recommend going to the museum, it is very well done, with modern approach to creating museum tours and with all the information you need to understand the Islands history as a whole a bit better :)
I specifically liked the warm welcome our dog got: bowl, welcome biscuit and a blanket which she adored to sleep on.
It is a quiet location with great staff, nice cafe attached and in amazing location. Thank you, we had a great time!
There was absolutely nothing to not like about this place :)
