New accomodation! Clean and easy to reach.

The living area is big and very inviting looking, especially during the day time. There are two bathrooms so it’s very convenient for everyone. The unit comes with a two in one washer and dryer. Parking is right beside the lodging so no climbing or lugging of heavy luggage bags up the stairs is needed.

The lodging is right beside a funeral director office if it bothers anyone. The mattresses are subpar. There was little support and we can almost feel the spring pressing against us. There is no where to hang clothes in the second bedroom.

Broadford Lodges Skye - Nice landing place for a family of 5!

The lodge was welcoming, clean and warm and a comfortable place to return to after exploring Skye; Fairy pools and Storr. Beds were very comfortable and showers appreciated. Easy access into lodge on day of arrival and great communication throughout. Close to coffee shops and nearby pizza place.

Great lodge for relaxing after long days exploring

Great location and easy to navigate to. Lodge was very warm and comfortable. Great to have 2 shower rooms and lovely big white towels. Good WiFi. Parking right next to lodge. Good and friendly communication with instructions before arriving

Overall good but a couple of improvements would help - need mirrors by plugs in bedrooms, kitchen could be better equipped if you want to cook - missing things like a jug for mixing and larger bowls. And please fix the very creaky floor at entrance and in one of the bathrooms - loud enough to wake the person in next room! Wouldn’t bother paying the extra for a Mountain View - it’s not worth it given the amazing scenery all around the island and too far away to appreciate them. Some instructions for the remotes and tv would be helpful.

Skye is gorgeous and your cabins are lovely, but 1 more roll of toilet paper in each bathroom would be great!

Didn’t leave enough toilet paper! We had an almost empty roll on the dispenser and a roll in the cabinet. Same for both bathrooms. Unfortunately, when you travel sometimes you get an icky tummy and we went and purchased an additional 4 pack.

Horrible place, avoid.

The dried snot on the walls, the stains on the walls and ceilings. The whole place was very poorly maintained. The staff were completely useless when there was no power. There was no notification of the power being out from the day before.

It was tolerable but only just for 5 people but was advertised as sleeps up to 6

The equipment and the layout in the lodge looked great The beds were comfortable. The lodge was fairly clean and warm and within walking distance to town. The WiFi was good.

We saw a Rat scurrying under our lodge decking on our arrival. At £700+ per night the lodge was grossly overpriced and I was expecting absolute luxury for that price instead of basic amenities. Even the bathroom only had shower gel and hand wash. No shampoo conditioner or body lotion available. The lodge was very cramped for 4 adults and a child. No hanging space for clothes apart from one hook in the bedroom Only bathroom mirrors available and the lodge would benefit from a small bedroom mirror. The sofa bed sheets were stained and the sofa bed had to be made up on arrival The other small sofa had stained cushions. No extra cutlery or crockery - just a basic minimal 6 of everything.

Everything was just right. Especially with the washer with dryer was a great help.

The noise from the flooring when we left the washer to wash our laundry over night. Also, need instruction with the stove as we normally use fire stove instead of heat induction stove.

Okay facilities for 4 or less people, very overpriced.

Location in Broadford was good.

Very cramped space for 5 people. The pictures are a bit deceiving in terms of size. The living room/kitchen space is fine but the bedrooms are tiny. Our bathroom locks didn’t work. The beds were very uncomfortable. And while the view looks okay, the homes themselves are in an industrial type lot that didn’t feel the safest/nicest driving through. The staff was responsive when we asked for additional towels. Overall, felt extremely overpriced for what we got.

Magnificent property and a hidden gem. Only caveat bring your car.

The property is huge, impeccably clean, well maintained, with all amenities and luxurious. The ‘temple’ and ‘keep’ are 2 separate listings, however both are part of the same structure. It looked like a small castle and was magnificent. The living area was great and we loved the view of the airplanes flying from there. The only thing was that it was relatively far from city centre and nearest convenience store was ~3.5 km away, hence not having a car can be a bit challenging. However, deliveries were happening seamlessly and the kitchen was well maintained.

Slightly far from the city centre and a 2 km stretch towards the road was narrow to walk on foot since there was no footpath. One has to walk on the road which can be slightly difficult post sunset.

Hugely over priced; behind a budget hostel with no views except car park and very disappointed as it was nowhere close to the pictures put up showing Mountain views. Even if the price was half, wouldn’t go for it.

Proximity to Isle of Skye. Self contained unit was great.

Double bed in master bedroom very tight. Need more table space in bedrooms. Front door very difficult to maneuver open and to shut. Price is high for value.

The chalet was nice, clean, and reasonably located within walking distance to Broadford hotel. Spacious, great amenities.

The tv didn't turn on with out having to stand on a chair, reach behind the all mounted TV and flip switches, wait 15 seconds and try again. Had to email the hosts 2 times for help. Key was in lock box. This was ok but the door key didn't lock the door without struggling. 2 keys, one for locking, 1 for unlocking. Had to leave the key in the lock inside in order to lock the door from the inside. Unclear instructions on how to use keys. The price charged was double compared to the usual price for our dates.Just because of it being a bank holiday weekend??

Ridiculous prices for a cabin especially at weekends. Trouble is there is little available choice on Skye. The garden areas are very scruffy and unkempt.

Great lodge in a quiet location. The weather was sunny and we loved the veranda at the front of the property. Ideal for 3 of us.

Slight gripe is that it was rather pricey compared to other accommodations we stayed at during our trip to the West coast of Scotland.

Perfect stopover for us on Skye .

Very clean and well appointed . Good quality furniture and appliances . Loads of hot water . Nice to have some tea/coffee/milk etc . Appreciated the provision of some laundry powder .

Outside area not quite finished , and a little bit like staying in a car park. But this was just a minor thing .

Way overpriced, broken bed and pet hair/smell

The upkeep on the lodges vs pictures online was disappointing, but that would have been fine for one night. The location was in the back of a hostel--it felt like we were just in the parking lot where the rubbish is kept. There were often people from the hostel out in the yard smoking so there was constant smell. The two biggest issues we had were that one of the lodges smelled like dog, had dog hair on the couch and in the washing machine. In our other lodge, the pull out couch bed was completely broken and unusable. We had our son sleep on the couch for the night, but that bed should not be advertised as an option. I think these places have the potential to be much better, but it seems upkeep and cleaning between guests is not being thoroughly done. It was a disappointment. I tried contacting the host during our stay and waited a few days after our vacation, but after I received no response from them, I decided to post a review to warn others.

Lovely base for exploring Skye

The lodge is in a great location, ideal for exploring Skye. It was warm, immaculately clean and comfortable, with all the practical necessities for a self-catering stay.

On arrival, there was a sign on one of our showers saying that it was out of order and would be fixed. However, the door remained broken for the duration of our 2-night stay, which was an inconvenience in an otherwise perfect stay.
