The staff were incredibly friendly, spoke English, and explained everything about staying in a ryokan. The room was beautiful and spotless. The food was impeccable. The baths were clean and stocked with products. I truly couldn't recommend this ryokan more. It's a hidden gem. Pro tip: do NOT walk there. The hill is killer - take the cable car.

The property was absolutely wonderful. We had the best host. The traditional, hot spring baths were wonderful That is a traditional Japanese hotel a very comfortable and welcoming, and it made for fantastic memories

I had such a wonderful stay! The room, location, amenities, and staff were lovely. I enjoyed the included meals and private onsen.

We were seven girlfriends who had a wonderful stay. Great service, nice rooms and very nice onsen. We just loved the superb sushi - we had ordered omakase and enjoyed it very much! Our compliments to the chef!! 👏👏
