    Solo traveller, booked twin room and pleasantly surprised to be allocated a double (room 19). Spacious, clean, warm, with decent bathroom (full bath and shower) and heated towel rail. Good hanging and storage space for clothes, t.v., kettle and beverages kit. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly and bar and restaurant were decent with good selection. Hotel is within town and provides easy walking access to centre and all amenities and offers free parking at rear car park (first come first served availability) - will definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.

    Very reasonable. Good beer. Food OK but very well priced. Room was good with firm mattress. Free parking was a bonus.

    The place is pleasant and has a lot of potential, although it would benefit from some investment. It is clean and has a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, the food is good, and it’s not too loud. The prices for the accommodation are reasonable. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely consider this place.

    The place is run down. The carpet in the corridor was dirty and smelly Carpet in room was dirty and one evening, there wasn’t hot water and next day coffee machine was broken. Very limited parking spaces.
