FANTASTIC, thank you so much for your kindness and making us feel very welcome

The breakfast was amazing, cooked fresh in front of us, we could of had a three course breakfast if we had wished so much to choose from, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and good old fry up, plenty of coffee/Tea and fruit juice, fabulous.

The landing light was on all night, but I didn't think to mention it in the morning to our lovely host, but other guests may have needed it as we came back early from our night out, by no means is this the fault of the host just a side note

A lovely, peaceful and tranquil stay. Thoroughly recommend.

Garden Cottage is situated at the end of a short quiet country lane in a quiet village. Peace and tranquillity is in abundance. Gill the host, is really friendly and helpful but gives, for me, the perfect amount of space. The bed in my room was enormous and very comfortable. The room was extremely cosy and very clean with all the amenities you would need. The morning breakfast was faultless. A lovely home cooked full English with toast, juice and coffee. Even cereals available if I wanted. Thank you Gill for a wonderful stay. I will be recommending it to all my friends.

The local pub, 5 minutes walk away, was not serving food on the evening I went. Obviously this wasn't Gill's fault but as I am sure the pub gets a fair amount of business from Garden Cottage, perhaps they could let Gill know when they are either closed or not serving food.

Quiet, clean and comfortable, we liked it a lot.

Very clean and comfortable, friendly host, lovely quiet location. Breakfast was very good, just what we asked for. We enjoyed our stay!

Directions could have been a bit better as it was slightly difficult to find, but otherwise there was nothing we didnt like, it was all good.

Fantastic stay at Garden Cottage.

Stayed at this delightful cottage for two nights, situated in a picture postcard village. Gill and Bill were super friendly, as was their little dog Mole. Cannot fault this place. Everything needed was provided; lovely spotless room with adjoining large bathroom, toiletries, selection of teas and coffees and a tasty bun too! As for the breakfast, cereals, jams, fruit, toast and a real top quality full English. Will definitely return.

A very relaxing place to stay for a short weekend break.

The breakfast was excellent, well presented and cooked with speed, but with no fuss. Our hostess was charming. The room was large, comfortable and with a good view. Not that we went there, but there is a good pub within easy walking distance.

Lovely stay lovely people.

We enjoyed a full English breakfast cooked to our preference by our very friendly host. The location lived up to it's name with a lovely garden. it was hidden away which made it more interesting. We would certainly go back.

I had problems with the stairs as I have arthritis but that was the only problem.

Cosy home from home

A lovely quiet location. A real home from home hosted by the amazing Gill. A nice spacious room with an ensuite that included a bath as well as a shower was a real bonus for me. The home cooked breakfast was perfect and I really felt welcomed by the family. A good night's sleep was helped with a comfy bed and I loved the beautiful furniture and bureau. Definitely will be staying again.

Peaceful and quiet stay with a personal touch and a great breakfast.

Gill and Bill were very kind and accommodating hosts. My wife and I were traveling by motorbike and as there were no other guests in the property at the time we were able to keep some of our luggage in the hall, which saved us from having to carry it upstairs to our room. It was perfectly quiet at night and coming downstairs to a freshly cooked breakfast was a treat. We greatly enjoyed the artwork and artefacts around the house, which gave it a personal touch. We would happily stay again.
