Lovely property in quiet location with super cottage garden. Great host Gill who supplied fantastic breakfast along with lots of local tips and recommendations for shopping and eating. We were visiting area in order to take the excellent tour of Highclere Castle, but added a shopping trip to Stockbridge, as advised by Gill, which didn't disappoint. We came home with lots of gifts for ourselves and others. We also visited the idyllic Mayfly riverside pub upon Gill's recommendation.
