One of the nicest places I've ever stayed!! We were offered an unexpected upgrade upon check-in. The room was a suite very spacious. The whole property is decorated beautifully with every single detail thought of. Breakfast the following morning was wonderful. I would never hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It was a perfectly adorable hotel. I was impressed by the cool interior. It was a bit inconvenient because of the location of power outlet. But I can understand because I know it's a remodeled house, not a business hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was really delicious. I am also grateful to the friendly hostess and host. The garden view in the living room is so wonderful. There is a small pond in the garden, and there are many carp. I have stayed this town about once a year for biz trip, and I'd like to stay here again next year. If it was located in a tourist destination, it was a hotel that made I want to travel with my family.

The bathrooms were excellent, with shower and tub and heated towel racks, which were also great for drying clothes. We saw the other single rooms and they were more than adequate in size and comfort. The bed was excellent.The hosts were superb, spoke perfect English and even helped us pay for a parking ticket. The breakfast We’re extremely good with a large selection of fresh fruit, fresh bakery bread’s, eggs if you wanted them, cereals, meets, etc.. The location was very good to use as a starting point to go to Ghent, Brugge, and Antwerp and even Brussels. A car is necessary. The town around the bed and breakfast-Eeklo- was a fairly modern suburban and nothing special, but very nice, having all the necessities. I would recommend the B&B and it’s hosts extremely highly. We would definitely go there again.

Villa Magdalena is superb! - fabulous room, beautiful lounge area, tranquil gardens - and a very warm welcome! Highly recommended! Only a stopover so can't say much about locality - except that we had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant just across the road!
