Don’t let the “love hotel” label deter you—J-Mex Hotel in Tokyo is a surprisingly great stay, especially for the value.
The location is excellent, with easy access to transit, restaurants, and nightlife. The rooms are also much more spacious than typical Tokyo accommodations, which makes a big difference after a long day of exploring.
What really stood out, though, was the cleanliness. The room was spotless—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and carefully looked after. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in every detail.
On top of that, the hotel offers a wide range of amenities you don’t often see at this price point, (we had a sauna and karaoke in our room), adding even more comfort and convenience to the stay.
Overall, J-Mex delivers exceptional value with space, location, and top-tier cleanliness. A very worthwhile option while in Tokyo.
