    Plenty of room compared to other hotels in Japan. Beautiful room with huge spa and steam room. Staff were very helpful with the assistance of Google translate. This hotel was in a great spot, only 5 minutes walk from Higashi-Shinjuku station. Would book again.

    I was surprised by how well appointed the room was. It is large, has your own private sauna and hot tub, a karaoke set in the room and comes with every imaginable toiletries possible, including face masks. There are also a number of items that the hotel will loan you including a foot and leg massager. They have a wide selection of teas, mini bar and you can order in from a very large menu. Everything was very clean and the staff were very service oriented.

    We were a bit hesitant to book this as it’s a “love hotel” but honestly it was a great experience. For a couple it’s perfect, the location is great, the area is a touch shady ish but really not that bad at all. Japan shady is not really shady at all. We felt safe at all times even late at night. The staff were all excellent, the rooms were super clean and spacious. The bed was big, a bit hard but still fine for sleeping. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple for a few days. We stayed for 4 days in total and would definitely return!

    Really great experience at the J-mex, huge room, great bathroom, only thing is that since it's a Love Hotel there is nowhere to put your suitcase / unpack - but I didn't mind with such a big spacious room!
