It was a very bad experience. The room was very small, a very small tv hidden behind the closet, the room was without ventilation. The cleaning was not correct. But the worst thing was the bad hospitality. If you are going to be with small children, never go to this hotel. The receptionist of the first shift behaved very badly because a 2 year old child cried, she was very rude and with very bad attitude. The breakfast was good and the pool was good too.

Staff were great and helpful ,choice at breakfast ,rooms a little old fashioned,( but your only sleeping there ) rooms were clean and cleaned everyday ,well situated to get to.places around the lake , lakeside a 5 min walk ,bus stops few meters away

I was disappointed with Expedia as this hotel was rated at 8.0- lesson learned to read reviews from other sources! The staff were fabulous,very helpful and accomodating. House keeping daily with fresh towels. The hotel was very dated. We were put in attic rooms, the only natural light and fresh air was from a velux roof window. Thankfully we had booked for air conditioning. There was a terrible smell, which smelt like a dirty wet mop masked with bleach, in our room, but also on the corridors at different points during our stay. Scrambled eggs were cold, but staff obliged to heat them in the microwave when asked. Equally I was disappointed to find that San Benedetto was not only the name of the hotel, but was also a district, approximately a 30-40 minute walk from the centre of Peschiera. Day 2 we found a bus that stopped nearby to travel into Peschiera.

A great hotel that actually has a good breakfast. Their only problem is that the AC takes too long to cool down the room (and had no timer) and that the fan in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off (at least in our room). It’s close to walk to the beach or to the grocery stores, but it takes almost 40 min to walk to Peschiera, and the buses only depart every 45 min and cost 3€/person and they ONLY TAKE CASH (there are one other bus as well that don’t come as often but it’s very cheap). OBS there are no buses in the evening but a taxi to Peschiera cost <12€.

Nice location, near Sirmione, affordable, very good breakfast included on the booking, friendly staff, just missing an extra pillow, sorry I like to sleep with 2 pillows, however I didn't request, maybe my fault

Good parking space under roof, close to the beach. But the room was very small and smelled kind of funky, perhaps due to the dusty AC. The bathroom was somewhat dirty with worn down interiour, my husband couldn’t sit on the toilet because there was no space for his legs. When washing my hands the water backed up out of a floor drain and covered my feet with muck, the staff fixed it and cleaned up pretty quick.

Good breakfast, very friendly staff. Hotel is located close to some good and local restaurants. No need to take your car if you want to do some shopping. Car can be parked right infant of the hotel. 5 minutes to the water. Dogs seems to be very welcome in the hotel.

Fab little hotel for a few nights by lake garda. Really basic room but had plenty of space and air con, only issue was the toilet flush didn't work properly and I had to speak to them about it a couple of times. They did eventually fix it and were very nice about it. Fantastic WiFi! Breakfast was excellent each morning. The hotel was on a bus route which was cheap to use but the buses didn't always run on time (2 euros to gardaland, 3 euros to sirmione). Alternatively you could walk to the train station in about an hour. It was about a 15 minute walk to a bit of the lake that you could swim in. There was a Lidl, another supermarket and a pharmacy within a 5 minute walk. Also an ice cream shop and a few different pizza places were a couple of minutes away if you didn't want to walk to any of the places by the lake side to eat. Overall a friendly, clean, no frills base to stay.

Nice Clean Hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a quiet area. Decent breakfast included. Supermarket nearby. Good as a base for exploring the locality. 2.5km from centre (too far to walk for most) but has bus stops almost outside (service LN026 and other local buses). Near lake (with pebbly beach) and has a few restaurants/bars within easy walking distance. If u haven't got a car, still easy-ish to go to Peschiera (bus), Sirmione (bus), Limone (Euro 25pp by lake ferry), Verona (bus) and other villages around the lake. Nearest airport Verona but also a good train from Milan Central allowing use of Malpenza (bus to Milan Central Train Station from airport) for more flight choices. Don't book an early-morning flight back because your only option is a taxi (expensive) if the buses/trains haven't started.
