I recently stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites, and I was extremely disappointed. The floor was filthy; my white socks turned black just from walking around! The room had a terrible smell, and it was clear that the sheets and towels hadn’t been changed during our stay. To make matters worse, we found several bugs along the window seal. I did not feel comfortable at all, especially with a toddler. This place did not feel clean or family-friendly. I definitely would not recommend it.

When my husband booked this hotel we asked for a wheelchair accessible room with a roll-in shower. This room was supposed to be accessible, but the way it was set up was horrible for accessibility. The bars for using the toilet were not placed so they could be reached while in a wheelchair. I could not use them to stand to either get on or off the toilet. My husband needed to physically hold me for me to get on the toilet and he needed to lift me off of the toilet. The shower also was not wheelchair accessible. It had a “lip” at the entrance which was falling apart and also would have prevented me from even getting into the shower. But if I had been able to do it, I would not have been able to control the water as the head was broken and held on by a rubber piece. My husband, who is not disabiled could not use the shower either for the same reason. The mattress on the bed was so old it was like “mush” and I could not move on it. I could not lay far enough away from the edge of the bed because I couldn’t adjust once I sat on the bed from my walker. All in all, this was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was not wheelchair accessible in the least and the room was not real clean either. The grout in the tile was dark (should have been light colored since the tile was light.)

The staff on check in was definitely not happy with her job. Not smiling at all. Answered ny questions with a blank face & tone. On the other hand, the checkout staff was really nice, jolly and accomodating, smiling and with a very positive aura. The linens were definitely not new, it was obviously just stretched out. Folds were not neat and didnt smell fresh at all. The elevator needs to be updated. On a positive note, i loved the idea of the complimentary breakfast where it was self service. The area was good. Close to everywhere like the mall, costco, ross etc I will think if i should

I booked a non smoking room only to find out the room smelled like a Las Vegas casino. I notified the staff that the room smelled strongly like cigarettes. The receptionist simply said they were aware of the smell. That a family had stayed in that room previously and had been billed for smoking in there. That the carpet would have to be replaced since they couldn’t get rid of the smell. Yet they went ahead and let me book that room and did not offer a discount, to switch rooms, or a refund. That was not acceptable.

We had to stay near the hospital after my husband’s surgery and this hotel was the perfect choice because of the price and location. Jeff and everyone at the front desk were awesome and very accommodating. It was a little outdated, but clean and the beds were very comfortable! Easy access to the freeway. Wonderful breakfast including make your own waffles! Would definitely stay there again!

First room had mold/mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom as well as the carpet having a very nice worn through spot. Asked front desk if we could switch rooms due to the mold/mildew, the lady at the front said “of course, you just have to be out of the room by 11 and you can just wait in here in the lobby until 3 when the next room is open”. The guy next to her looked at her as if she was mental and told us we could stay in the current room and they’ll let us know as soon as the next room is available, which shouldn’t be too long. After a short time, we were moved to a new room without any issues minus the carpet pealing up in the transition from entry to bedroom. Provided breakfast was decent, although for the 3 mornings we were there neither the apple or cranberry juice were replenished in the machine. Overall, 2 stars. Definitely worth the $80/night I guess.

We asked if they could move us, they said yes but for us to pack everything up and put our luggage in front office while we were out. When we returned they told us they knew nothing about it and put us back in the same room!!
