Excellent location and facilities. Spotless and clean. Polite staff.

The family room booked was very tired looking and was in need of desperate updating. Compared to other hotels this room needs to be brought upto date with bedside usb sockets, a bigger smart television, new update to the curtains and the mattress was so uncomfortable that I have had a bad back since sleeping in it. In general though the hotel main areas were clean and tidy but looked tired. The reception staff were lovely, polite and friendly.

Was a very strange smell around the corridors and on entering the room. Other than that everything else was very pleasant and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful

This hotel is appalling. Strong lived in odour upstairs. When I used the bathroom in my room, the stench of cannabis mixed with body odour was sickening as I opened the door. The mattress protector had not been straightened out properly, and the bottom sheet looked as though somebody had already slept upon it. (Unfortunately I only noticed this as the hour approached midnight, because I had been sat working for a couple of hours at my laptop, and my first thought in a bedroom is not to check the bedding as I trust at the hotel can do a good enough job with that... And the floorboards creaked so loudly that I didn't want to start going down stairs and disturbing everybody else in the hotel in the process).Brown lump on ceiling also. Quite how a cleaner could sign this room off as being fit for use astounds me. The breakfast at this hotel is just in a box and is not worth the money that is charged for it. When I spoke to the staff member in the morning about the issues with my room... I was offered a small bottle of fizzy drink as an apology. This was an insult. I emailed photographs of the issues with the bed, but nobody bothered to get back in contact. I took up the issue with Expedia, who were swift in giving me a little compensation via the loyalty scheme... But I was informed that the actual hotel were refusing to give any sort of compensation apart from a complimentary stay at the hotel once again! Don't stay here.

I stay at Days Inn, Telford whenever I visit (usually annually). The location is convenient with excellent parking. The reception are professional and friendly. Accommodation is basic, but adequate for a short stay. Shifnal village has plenty of places to eat and Starbucks is on site for breakfast. There is also a microwave to heat up anything bought at Waitrose.

The room was basic as expected but a good size, clean, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy.

We were welcomed by the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. What i was not impressed with was the parking charge. I was not aware that parking woyld be charged!

£143 quid for the worst hotel room we've ever stayed in. Stinks of weed in the bathroom also.

Please note there is a daily parking charge. The breakfast has no juice as stated on the stand at reception and the price depends on who you book with. The reception price was a different price to mine online. The reception price was cheaper.

Property is conveniently located, very clean, good food and the staff seemed to enjoy working there. Grocery store a block away and an easy bus to catch downtown. Staff were very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there…we stayed 2 extra days as the prices were far better that anywhere closer to London

Nice Hotel staff member was very nice and very professional. Had A Lovely Chat. I Dont Drive But was still ideal.

Hotel is near a burger king and a few other shops, nothing to do within walking distance. This wouldn't usually be an issue but the promised WiFi didn't work, resulting in a very boring evening with our child - booked specifically with WiFi to keep them entertained while relaxing. Broken tiles in bathroom. Reception staff were clueless on WiFi. Few plug sockets. Had to ask for extra pillows at reception (1 provided per bed). Otherwise hotel was clean and breakfast box (cereal milk oat bar brioche) was ok, would have preferred cooked breakfast but this wasn't obvious on booking. Could hear every footstep of room above so a poor night's sleep.

Good price for that area,good size but basic, bathroom was better then expected but a very shallow bath, And i didnt expect to have to pay for parking while there

I have I used this hotel many times. It is convenient and well run. HoweverI very much resented having tom pay a £5.00 parking fee because I had not booked through Welcome Inns direct. I may well now not book there at all.

Great stay and ideal for visiting family. Be aware that you need to pay for parking per night of £5 at check in if you did not book direct with Wyndham for your stay.

Breakfast wasn’t as expected. You get a small cardboard box with cork flakes, some milk, spoon and carton of juice to take away with you. Parking isn’t free, it’s £5! Take your own pillows as theirs are hard and lumpy.

Stayed in this hotel many times as a friend lives near by, never had any issues though I will say the beds in the room ( room 10) this time seemed very narrow and uncomfortable. Apart from that great and great amenities. Will stay again
