Warm welcome and pool.
We had two rooms close to each other. There was quite a difference in the room decor, with one being far more modern and nicer than the other. Perhaps they are slowly upgrading them all?

The hotel was clean, comfortable and well presented. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was convenient, and the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable base for our couple of days in Telford.
The bar prices were a little on the expensive side, and the mattress was slightly firmer than I’m personally used to, although that is entirely down to preference. Neither detracted from our stay and, other than those minor points, we had no complaints whatsoever.

Location good, dinner at restaurant good, room great and appreciated fan available.
Breakfast was chaotic. We were there just before 9am on a Sunday morning, no free tables except large tables, the few staff struggled to keep up clearing tables, replenishing food, but did do with a smile. People waiting for hot food, toast, pastries, etc. TIP: get there by 8am I guess to get a decent breakfast.

It’s fine, the room was fine and the bed comfortable. The public areas really need a good clean but the room was cleans not much storage space for a longer stay.
The breakfast is appalling - the hash browns are so under cooked to appear almost white, the pastry selection is pathetic as is the fruit. The eggs were swimming in grease. Sausages were nice though.
