The receptionist was kind, helpful and informed upon asking to how i would get in as i arrive late due to my religious festival , he informed that there would someone be at the reception all the time and if not then ring the vell. The room was very comfortable and clean. Very much value for money and very much centrally located

Location. Friendly reception staff. The room is clean. Hot water available. Very clean bathroom. Very good parking - one of the reasons we re-book.

Broken bin in the bathroom so you could not open it. No shower gel in dispenser - or it was not working. Shower curtain is right next to the toilet and drapes over the toilet and the flush handle. -BUT the bathroom was beautifully clean.

The pool was great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The car par was very big.

The shower was not great, too hot then too cold etc, the room I was in had a skylight in the roof and it needs replacing as the traffic was too loud.

Comfortable Overnight Stay

I only stayed for one night as I attended a family funeral in the day and saw friends at night. I had stayed before so I knew that the hotel would fine. My room was clean, and the staff very helpful.

The room I was in was smaller than ones at another local hotel I had stayed at the night before, but I was barely in the room so this mattered less.

Another great stay

Location perfect ,rooms very good ,swimming pool ,staff so friendly and helpful ,free parking .Breakfast selection good evening meal good

This particular stay it was quite hot during the night ,some of the meal prices I thought was slightly expensive ,example steak i think was £29 ,it wasn't a good quality cut and looked pale but over all our meals were good .

Over priced outdated rooms

Location

Beds are uncomfortable. The room is seriously outdated. Carpets liffed on edges and corners had to remove 3 big spiders from the room tv Is about 15 years old (NOT SMART) stain on the sheets. Pillow's was hard shower has hardly any pressure for £125 a night its NOT worth it at all I shall not be staying their again 😕

Lovely, comfortable stay

Hotel extremely clean and warm. Staff friendly & cheerful, special mention to Rachel for making us very welcome. Pet friendly (£20 additional charge), big bonus that dog was allowed in the bar where we ate our tasty dinner and breakfast. Ample free parking & great location.

Pity there’s an additional £20 pn charge for dog, only stayed one night but would look elsewhere for longer stay.

Expensive breakfast,no choice of having a cheaper option there. I wouldn’t pay the £16,50 per person. Went to Asda and bought a box of cereal and milk and had it in the room with coffees! Lol

Will definitely stay again

It’s actually not easy to find a decent hotel in the area, I hate the soulless super cheap ones, I usually stay in the period/character hotels but the trade off is they are tired, dated, and not so clean. So I thought I would try this, booked an executive room, and was impressed with the size, and it was absolutely spotless - the bathroom was modern and also spotless - it’s just so refreshing to stay in a nice, modern, and super clean space! Location is great, didn’t hear any road noise, slept well. Breakfast was great. Didn’t try the bar but it was a nice welcoming space. Excellent parking facilities.

Only criticism would be the very large double bed I think had 2 single mattresses and could do with a topper so you can sleep in the middle without feeling the sides of the individual mattresses.

The hotel was spotless and the staff fantastic. We wouldn’t usually stop here but struggled to get a room in our usual hotel, although considered a budget hotel we could not fault it one bit - the rooms were immaculate and the staff an absolute pleasure.

Horrific & will never stay again

The room was in the basement area, very small , & woke up twice by people shouting & swearing obviously pissed up from the bar. £14 each for a breakfast, we went to weatherspoons down the road far more reasonable with unlimited coffee.

Once again a perfect place to hang up the car keys and chill out and relax for a few days.

Staff friendly and helpful, nothing ever seems too much, facilities perfect. Short walk to large indoor shopping precinct. Surround gardens.

I like to stay at the Ramada when I need to visit Telford, it has great facilities, and the staff are always very helpful.

On this visit, my room had no heating which made my stay during the current cold snap very unpleasant.

Catering let it down..

Check in was good. Lovely big room and bathroom with everything you need although bottles of water in the room would have been nice. Bar very comfortable and location good for what we wanted.

We ate in the restaurant, which is also where breakfast is served, on the first evening having booked a table for 2. On arrival I was informed that all the tables for 2 were occupied because of walk ins and we were seated on a large table for 6. If you know there is a booking surely a table should be reserved Food was good, but I felt as though I was eating in a cafeteria but paying restaurant prices. A tablecloth, a candle, flowers, anything to give it a better ambience would be nice. Breakfast was buffet style and was okay but the only tomatoes available were tinned which is surely not suitable for breakfast. Lots of staff hanging around doing not very much.

Reception check in - not consistent with guests only some of us were asked for c/card in case of damages this should be applied to all guests and not just a select few, especially when checking in together

Convenient and easy to find, just off M54, considering it was in a built up area was very quiet, very clean and staff very pleasant, polite and professional. Environment clean but overall just a little dated.

Room was very hot even with fan provided. Although room very clean, just looked a bit dated but reasonable value for a basic hotel and met expectations.
