Nice stay by the Clock Tower

Great location and staff were lovely

Prices seem to be going up alot so not as competitive as in the past! Bathroom wearing slightly too!

Hotel was fab.

Hotel did not serve breakfast and the bar/grill that was part of the hotel didn’t open till 12. Luckily there’s a McDonald right behind.

No breakfast or other food apart from the grill. The website needs updating to reflect that the restaurant is not attached to the hotel anymore and revise opening times.

Good location. Friendly staff, nice and clean, bit dated but good value and we had a quiet overnight stay. The pub next door was good with friendly staff. We did not eat there, but the curry menu looks amazing!

It is very confusing to find, as the signage is not correct. At the moment, look for the Clock Tower Hotel.... The bubble bath bottle was empty and could do with more tea, coffee, and mini milk pots in the room. Needs to be at least 2 decaf, 2 normal coffee sachets, was only one of each. Could do with plastic or glass containers for drinking water too. Otherwise, it was very good.

Location and staff were friendly.

Smelt and looked dirty. Weird dusty smell. Room was cold. No hand soap in the room. Staff did give me some almost empty bottles when asked. Bath tub was filthy. Noisy car park. People making noise on the ay to their rooms. Wouldn't stay again.

Convenient for the purpose of my visit

Very basic. Nowhere on site to get breakfast unless you like McDonalds, the neighbouring pub didn’t open until noon!! No phone in room, no instructions about fire exits, TV, shower. Originally a Premier Inn site but now without its comfort. Glad I was only staying for 1 night.

Most friendly staff at a hotel in a long while

Staff were so friendly and helpful. I asked if they could make sure there was bedding for sofa bed as I was only checking in late . The sofa bed was made up. So I would say that they went above their duty.

The heating was a little awkward to get going But staff helped .

Good stay but not great.

Good location to what we required. We visited the local Hoo zoo and was the closest hotel to the zoo. Easy to get to town centre by car and not far from the motorway. Few eateries nearby and mainly convenience shops. Beds were comfortable and had a decent night's sleep. Busy road nearby but couldn't hear the traffic in the room.

Was a slight smell of damp in our room. Only noticeable when first opening the door. Soon went after being in room for a period of time. Remnants of what used to be a premier inn and not quite finished making it their own. Restaurant across the way was confusing. Not sure if it wanted to be an Indian restaurant or a pub. Staff were nice but very new to the operation. Plenty of people eating but we were put off by previous reviews.

Comfortable warm basic room clean no frills economy stay

Very helpful pleasant lady on the desk, The facilities are a bit tired, but the room was warm and clean, the bathroom was well appointed and very clean. It was in a convenient location for other services local shops and restaurants. Parking was free and easy to park. It was inexpensive

Room was clean and tidy, with good strong shower. Spare Tea bags and coffee left out in reception if needed. Spacious Carpark.

Rooms were a little dated. Told Bar resteraunt, over carpark, was under renovation so wasn't open. But seen later it had opened after 7pm.

Comfortable hotel, reasonably priced with restaurant on site.

Friendly and efficient reception even when I arrived late. Reassuring to know the reception was staffed throughout the night. Well spaced car park immediately outside the building. The room was basic and had everything I required. Very clean room and en-suite. Comfortable bed and very quiet. The pricing was appropriate. Welcoming pub / restaurant on other side of car park although I had dinner before I arrived and didn’t go there for breakfast.

War schon als Premier Inn dort. Ist für mich optimal gelegen in der Stadt. Frühstück war immer Top. Wurde aber bei diesem Aufenthalt abgeschafft. Hatte mit Frühstück gebucht und keins bekommen. Warte noch auf eine Rückzahlung des Aufpreises.
