Absolutely beautiful place to stay the staff was all very attentive to all our needs it was a very pleasant stay the cleanliness was above and beyond especially for such a big hotel couldn't fault it well done to all xx We had a meal in the restaurant and it was beautiful as was the breakfast everything you need xx

We were charged an extra £25 to check in one hour early, even though the room was ready. The swimming pool was not as expected and served as a public pool that you could use for free which was not the experience we wanted. the room service only had a margarita pizza for almost £20 (that a vegetarian could eat) everything else was very expensive and it’s actually a long way from Ironbridge. We checked out a day early and the staff didn’t even ask why.

Bar staff rude and lazy paid extra for a deluxe room which was smaller than standard by a lot ..asked reception and was told its for the view !! It was overgrown weeds outside..drink prices are ridiculous overpriced

Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Pool was a good size and temperature. The cooked breakfast was well prepared and there was a range of milk substitutes.

Lumpy pillows. Lack of vegan food in general - eg on the main menu, for room service, limited breakfast such as no guarantee that hash browns were vegan etc. No fridge in rooms

Breakfast was very nice. Lovely and hot with a good selection of pastries , juices etc. Had a bar snack on the night of arrival which was delicious and very fresh.

We felt the doors to the individual rooms were too noisy when cloding when people returned to their rooms. Lots of loud bangs from the doors Inadequate soundproofing between the rooms i.e. could hear people using the toilet in the next room etc.

The hotel came to our rescue after a night at another hotel which we had a terrible experience. Walking into the hotel I felt all my stress disappear. The reception was elegant and stylish, the staff extremely friendly and professional. The room itself was superb. A good size with all the facilities one would expect, extremely clean, the twin beds very comfortable. The bathroom was a generous size, a good shower. Being on the ground floor of the hotel I appreciate being able to open the windows at night for some fresh air. The night was peaceful and quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. The food at dinner was delicious and the staff once again couldn't do enough. Breakfast was very good and gave us a good opportunity to appreciate the beautiful views and excellent location of this hotel. This will now be our go-to hotel for this part of the England!

Good location for visiting Ironbridge Gorge which was the purpose of our visit.

Would have liked a little more detail at check in as to what was where. Only given directions to our room.

Great location with a fantastic view, plenty of car parking, friendly welcome from the Reception staff, comfortable room and great breakfast with plenty of choice.

If you're being really picky and mean really picky, some of the bathroom fitting are starting to show signs of wear, but like I said this is being really picky, they all worked and were clean etc.

Location of property was very close to Ironbridge and all the local museums

The shower door seall was damaged and leaked badly all over the bathroom floor. Nothing was done despite reporting it.

The cleanliness was not up to par. The bathroom door was dirty there was mold round the shower door. Behind the bedside table was full of dust.

Great hotel to attend a conference. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious and the layout was ideal to attend the conference onsite but also to withdraw at set moments and enjoy peace and quiet in the room or work. Beautiful views out towards the hills and friendly staff.

The room was quiet and well-appointed with 2 chairs. The breakfasts were lovely, and there was a good choice for evening meals. Parking was easy. Relaxing, safe, good food and drink.

It was easy to find and is incredibly close to the city, well presented in appearance The Spa is average with good spa staff.

The Staff were not very attentive at check-in, as one staff member began to check us in, his shift must have ended, before finishing with us, he just up and left, we then waited a few moments while a shift change happened, then we were served by a new member of staff. Then before we were finished checking in, this staff member allowed us to be interrupted by a gentleman complaining at the check-in desk, the staff member stopped checking us in and spoke over us to deal with the complaint first. My suggestion would be to train staff better in customer service. First impressions do count. We were given the wrong room as requested via email correspondence but this was quickly and pleasantly resolved. Although, our room felt very clostraphobic, the heating was switched on high, making it uncomfortable. The bed was too soft, (however this is of course personal preference.) There was thick dust along the T.V, the toilet seat was loose & one small towel each wasn't nearly enough. (Housekeeping having a bad day). The pump hand soap & body wash were both nearly empty (again, this is a staff training/awareness issue) There are many heavy doors and narrow corridors to navigate to the spa. (I understand these are probably fire doors, but as a disabled person I found it very difficult to open them all, not enough available staff to ask for assistance). The gentleman's spa showers were covered in limescale, (not a good look for a fancy spa). The use of robes in the spa are charged at £5 per use (we felt this is unreasonable for a spa of this standard) We checked out a day early, we were not asked if everything was ok or given a questionnaire to give feedback.
