    The staff were very nice, their manners were one of the things that brought up the score of this review. Breakfast was good and very filling. Location was also very good, you’re pretty close to everything so based on these two points my mother and I would recommend it. But honestly the room was very disappointing. The bathroom door was hard to close so you had to bang it shut, which is pretty annoying during the evening. Small thing, but something we wanted to use as we paid for it; the towel warmer in the bathroom. It didn’t work. Throughout the entire trip, we talked to the staff about it but nothing was done nor were we even notified that they’d looked at it. The shower had this weird thing where all the water would pile up into what essentially became a foot bath whilst showering. Don’t know if the drain was clogged but it didn’t feel good standing in a pool of water with a raised drain. Felt like I was standing in what could potentially be dirty water from previous guests. Lights would turn off on their own, it didn’t seem like a timer thing, nor were they flickering — they just turned off and then we had to turn them on again. We also heard loads of strange noises inside our room (of which we notified the staff, nothing really happened). The noises sounded like someone was dragging something or opening a door that drags along the floor, but we had no such doors in the room and the sound was coming from inside our room, not outside nor above/below. Then there was the thing where someone during the first 1-2 nights kept pulling at our door handle, but when we looked through the peephole, no one was there and there were no sounds from other doors opening or closing so who knows whatever that was…
