Location couldn’t have been any better for the Christmas markets and shops and close enough to walk to the love lock bri

Location location location Couldn’t be any closer to the Christmas market it’s right in the middle of it all. Close to shops and places to eat - paid parking near by.

Needs a good clean in communal areas such as halls and stairs. The room was pretty basic and dated could do with a refresh and some nice touches maybe a kettle or mini fridge or just some new furniture.

Fabulous location and a good base for Christmas markets.

Amazing location- ideally situated for the Heinzel’s Christmas market and not far from the Cathedral

Bit tired and bed was so lumpy. No tea and coffee in room and struggled to get coffee downstairs after 10am.

Freezing - No heating when it was -2 degrees. No one ever at reception & no response when messaging on here.

Location

Receptionists we're not the most helpful. Reception was unstaffed a number of times, including mid day when we came back to collect our luggage, we had to liaise with the restraunt staff. There was also a random dog in reception which we suspect was a member of staffs, it was unmanned and was barking and growling at us which left us feeling unsafe

Spacious room, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in Altstadt, close to everything, including transportation to/from airport or to any other direction, inside or outside the city. It was my second time in XII Aposteln and everything went excellent.

Perfect location, moderate accommodation

It has great location close to catedral in the middle of old town. One of the squares just in front of the hotel. There is a nice Italian restaurant under the hotel. It was a great option with the kid in rainy day.

Floor was not that much clean. And as the windows are old style, the sound of the square and cafes was coming inside the room my kid has trouble to fall in sleep.

A large, comfortable room with a lovely view in the center of the old town. The heat and shower worked, there were complimentary slippers, what more could I ask? Good location near sites, restaurants and museums.

The hotel is in excellent location and has all the facilities. The majestic Cologne cathedral is just at walkable distance.

A very centrally located hotel with a restaurant underneath, where breakfast is served, and it's set within one of the older buildings within Cologne. The hotel and restaurant are nicely decorated and the facilities within the room were clean and modern. A very good value hotel, especially considering its location.

Just a small gripe, there could have been a bit more choice at breakfast. But it's only a small gripe, the breakfast overall is good.

Really not worth it for the price.

The location is great. They are pet-friendly, which is also great, and rare.

The floor is our room was so dirty the shoes stuck to it. The shower sink was clogged, and water would spill all over the floor, so we had to put down towels.

The location is very good, right in the middle of the old city, 10 walking minutes from the Cathedral.

The area is super noisy, even though the windows were very good the noise from the restaurants in the evening and cleaning vehicles in the morning was disturbing. In the 4th floor, in the area of my room there was an unpleasant smell and the room had also a light smell of mould. The breakfast used to be spectacular years ago when I used the hotel, now it was just boring standard, staff was not unfriendly but visibly bothered by work. Not a welcoming feeling.

Great location close to train station, cathedral, shopping quarters and night life.

The good location meant that you did get some noise from the nearby restaurants and pubs, but I believe that is to be expected, just remember to bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise.

Location is very central. Clean room. Easy checking. Nice staff.

The room was very noisy - located outside several pubs. The noise calms down after 4:00am so very hard to get a good nights sleep. The room was very hot with no functioning AC.
