Wonderful stay and exceptional service. We truly appreciated the staff for acknowledging our anniversary and thoughtfully upgrading our room—it made our stay feel special from the start. Beautiful sprawling resort that is well maintained and staffed. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful at each encounter. The fitness facility is top notch with everything you can imagine including an indoor track. It’s nice to see this older property still thriving and still trying to be a destination , not just a place to stay.

The property is beautiful and it’s located in a beautiful area. You can sit on the patio in the lobby area and look at the beautiful landscape. Everyone is very friendly and they have many options for foods and coffee shop with great espresso. The actual room is pretty standard but it’s comfortable.

Liked the room, the views, the patio for drinks by the bar, food was good. Didn’t like how loud the lobby bar was- you could not hear the clerks at the desk. You had to shout. That’s not professional. Also didn’t like the tiny balcony outside the room- felt very unsafe and things could fall easily.

The room we were given was disappointing. The window faced the front porch and couldn’t be opened, which made the stay uncomfortable. While the room itself was just average, we decided to check out early rather than spend another night there. Next time, I’ll choose a Marriott or Hilton instead.

The property is big. When we checked in, our room wasn’t ready so the front desk told us we could eat lunch at their restaurant (Crenshaw) first. We got lost making our way there. Then after lunch we got lost making our way to the elevators for 5th floor. That all was super frustrating. Shelby - a super nice young lady and Paul - at front desk immediately apologized. They noted that in future they will give a property map when guests check in. Anthony at front desk was super gracious. Tye entire valet and front entrance staff are also wonderful. All cleaning staff was amazing and rooms are very clean We had a nice room on 5th floor with beautiful views. Self parking is easy. It’s a large priority so be ready to get your steps in when walking to and from Parking space - we liked getting our steps in. Velvet Joe staff is absolutely warm and wonderful and we loved getting our morning coffee and snack here. I had gone for work bit Ho early wouldn’t mind going back in a winter month with all my family again, just to relax for a week. Gracious staff makes all the difference even if the property itself is wonderful (which it is).

This is our 2nd stay here and the staff and resort are wonderful. The only thing I’d have changed with this stay is that the blind salamander was closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there so just plan accordingly if you plan to stay and want to eat here. The paint used in the elevators has a very strong odor as well. Other than that, all is perfect! Local restaurant we attended was Carve and it was amazing.

Husband and and I stayed for our 28th wedding anniversary. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating. They hotel offered a few complimentary beverages and desserts as congratulations throughout our stay at the various on site resturants and bar. Our room was beautiful and spacious, very clean, and really exceeded our expectations. As part of our stay we enjoyed a day at Mokara spa which was relaxing and beautiful as well. We can't wait to come back.
