I loved the Location and it was very friendly.

The Service at The Meridian 98 was despicable. The Poor waitress on Friday night was overwhelmed and very upset. We asked for Sprite 3 different times over 45 minutes. My husband asked for a drink 3 times the last time he went up to the bar and the bartender said she didn’t even have order.

Perfect for our Austin area junior tennis tournament stays

My daughter is a competitive tennis player and there are high level tournaments in the vicinity of the Sonesta. It's a perfect hotel for these events, comfortable, quiet and clean. Situated in a mall with a Whole Foods and restaurants, so everything I need is close by. The Sonesta also has a great rooftop restaurant with healthy food options.

I have no complaints, as long as I come back to the Austin area for junior tennis tournaments with my daughter, I'll be choosing the Bee Cave Sonesta.

Nice hotel but for the price is too high. Not so clean.

The hotel is nice, and the location for the purpose of our trip was great

Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bathroom floor had hair on it, shower too. Unacceptable. One morning we asked the front desk to send somebody to clean and they said they would, when we came back in the afternoon the room was not clean. We had to call housekeeping, they came later. Next morning, we noticed they didn’t even leave coffee, really? Not very happy about those things. The price is too high for what the hotel offers.

Relaxing even though it was a work trip.

It was clean in a central location with a lot of amenities around it. The bar upstairs has a great view, there is a small gym and there is a really nice pool.

I would be nice to have the option of having coffee service in the room.

4 star prices for a terrible boutique hotel

They let me check out late which was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

No food options other than an extremely expensive rooftop thats only open for dinner (and no room service). No water bottles!!! That drives me crazy. They force you to buy water! I personally refilled empty bottles at the gym fountain to not give them a buck. The room had broken lights, flimsy hardware, feels very old and poorly constructed with crappy paint jobs. This is literally a bad boutique hotel that charges you the price of a 4 star in the city. Keep in mind, they were demoted a star. And it looks like they want to be demoted another.

The location was the reason that I booked the property.

The hotel seemed a bit run down with mold in the grout lines of the showers. It was evident that the management cuts corners and runs the property as cheaply as possible. The price that I paid was way too much for the condition of the property.

A beautiful hotel in a great location, but we would not likely book there again.

Beautiful property and great location. The staff were all super friendly and all were smiling. The pool was really nice. We liked that there were complimentary pool towels. The complimentary breakfast on Sunday was absolutely delicious and a nice surprise.

The room could have been better for the price. There was a yellow spot on one of the white comforters on the bed. The shower handle was not working properly. It was very difficult to turn the shower off and on. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. When traveling with children, it’s not always feasible to go down to the lobby to use the microwave. The room was booked for 4 occupants. It was disappointing that there was only enough towels for 2 people in the room. We arrived late and had to call for more towels. We could never get the WiFi to work on our devices.

no parking , the first time ever I’ve seen a hotel with no parking near it , you literally have to walk a little over a quarter mile to get to it carrying your bags & if you a male most likely your spouse or partners also. Ridiculously far.
