Stayed here a few times 10+ years ago and we decided to come back for a nostalgic trip
Still an amazing location bud sadly has gone a little downhill or maybe other hotels have upped the game since
Rooms could do with renovating, food was good but pricey and breakfast was a bit average too sadly to what it was when it had a fine dining restaurant
Lost the magic touch it used to have of accommodating staff too, it was mid week so maybe the key people were off that day
We didn't have a dog this time but I imagine if you do it makes it a more appealing hotel
