Location is unbeatable! Beautiful river one side, short walk into town the other side. We parked 2 cars in the (free) hotel carpark on arrival and didn't need to drive anywhere during our stay. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, delicious freshly cooked breakfast. We had a great stay. Perfect location for parkrun too!
Some of the furnishings are a bit tired (lots of glitter!) but it does feel homely.

Nice hotel let down by the cleanliness and our shower not working for the first day. The room was small and the bed just a double. There wasn't a lift and the stairs quite awkward when in the attic area. On the positive side the location was beautiful and the staff very polite and helpful.
Stairs difficult and awkward. Room too small.
