Lovely place really enjoyed our stay in a lovely part of the world. Yorkshire dales. Room was lovely. No view apart from car park but nice room. Really comfortable bed and pillows. Food was lovely in the evening. Breakfast nice.
Need more toast coming out on a toast rack. Instead of being on the plate with breakfast people like to have it with marmalade or jam not just with their eggs on breakfast. Coffee wasn’t that hot. Need a coffee machine that does different types of coffee for people to go up to. Other than this spot on breakfast.

Beautiful pub/hotel that has been refitted to a very high standard. The location is perfect for exploring the moors (really appreciated the ‘walks from the door’ guide.
The staff were always extremely friendly.
We also ate at the pub all three nights and the food was fab too.

It has been styled really well. One of the reasons I chose it.
We had room 12. In the early hours each night, the radiator made loud clanging noises which woke us up. The fridge was also noisy but we managed to switch it off. The stairs and landing are also really creaky so other guests moving about in the early hours also woke us up.
Although the room had been renovated with great taste, the woodwork was all chipped as though it hadn’t been part of the renovation or forgotten about.
The room was also quite dim in places. No light near the wardrobe which made it difficult to see inside and to use the full length mirror.
We only had breakfast in the restaurant so can’t comment on the dinner service.
