    Great stay. Would recommend in the heat of old Quebec

    We arrived late that day, but the check-in staff is very welcoming. Quebec gets rainy and cold in late September, we find the room very warm, we really appreciate the heating/ room temperature control system. There is a little supermarket and bakery at the entrance of the hotel, which is very convenient and reasonably priced. The location is also very convenient, we can walk to all the main attractions in Quebec City. Also, the hotel is pretty close to the train station. However, only thing to complaint is that we need to carry our own luggage up the stairs, with no slope or lift, in order to reach the lobby of the hotel.

    Although the hotel is rated four stars, the room felt more like an older property — the décor and overall vibe seemed a bit dated. Cleanliness could be improved as well; I even found leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest and reported it to the front desk. Overall, it didn’t quite feel like a true four-star hotel. That said, the bed was very comfortable, the lobby looked beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Because of its excellent location near the train station, I’d say it’s a partial recommendation. However, overall the price felt too high.

    Indicated in my reservation for twin beds. Apparently they do not check that. Had to get a single queen bed. And staff hardly knew info about the place - where to hear English Mass.
