Hôtel Maison du Fort

This is an absolutely beautiful and cozy boutique hotel! The combination of modern and old stone walls and beams was gorgeous and the sitting area was actually inviting and comfortable! The location was amazing as well , close to everything, boardwalks, food , shops … couldn’t have asked for a better location! The only thing I would say is I wish that they had supplied some bottled water in the rooms !

People in the reviews complained about lifting luggage upstairs but this wasn’t an issue. This type of building in old town isnt going to have a lift, staff would 100% help with luggage anyway.

The hotel is stunning. The lady that checked me in was incredibly helpful and kind.

The only criticism I have is that the washroom in our room was upstairs, like a loft and there are no doors or privacy and it's very echoey. I do prefer more privacy

The staff were friendly. The room was modern.

Both the hotel description and the booking.com confirmation indicated that breakfast was included in the cost, however, the hotel does not provide breakfast. Definitely not a hotel for persons with mobility challenges. Many stairs to all the rooms.
