Excellent

Room was very clean. Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious.

Convenient location with friendly, hard working staff. The common areas are modern and well appointed: lobby, restaurant, fitness center, pool, banquet rooms. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping staff was great However the rooms are dark and the lighting is poor. The bathrooms are very dated: old tub, visible wear on wall paper, baseboards, flooring. etc. Definitely needs some work. Breakfast buffet is mediocre.

I enjoy staying here as not only the staff, but the condition and cleanliness of the hotel and room is impeccable. I always recommend this hotel to friends and family as I've been staying here for over 5 years when I visit Michigan.

The elevator didn’t work this morning. But everything else was great.

No food, room wasn’t ready, weed everywhere, not updated.

Stuffs and services were great but when I entered the room at my first day, there were some papers under the dressing mirror.

Gym was awesome, pool was clean, restaurant served good food and heavy drinks, rooms super clean. No complaints, will stay again!

Omce again Marriott Detroit Novi reamined my top hotel. The customer service, room size, and breakfast were on point. I have been in the airline businesses for 36 years flying around the world and this hotel is my favorite.

I had no specific complaints about the hotel.

I planned this trip for my granddaughters so they could swim at the hotel but unfortunately the pool had a power failure and the entire stay was a bust.

Clean

I have worked for Marriott for a long time; the associate who checked us in did not go out of there way to help as Marriott’s core value. I had reservations for 3 rooms, where I was expecting to check in around 10am with an early $50.00 fee. When checking in due to flight delays at 12:30 ~ 1pm we were charged an early check-in fee on 4th of July (occupancy was probably less than half) for 3 rooms. I politely asked the associate if I can check in early for 1 room with the fee and finish the process for the other 2 rooms so I do not have to drive back, associate expressed that’s not possible. Where managing a Marriott property it was possible as I was there present and the rooms were ready to go. There was another associate male who was present overhead the whole situation did not step in to help as he was shopping on the company computer, the front counter had juice residue which could have been cleaned. I was very disappointed when asked for a managers card, I was told they are locked away and was given card for Kristen Keene who’s a director of sales. Maybe the place is managed by director of sales, reason why it’s lacking in customer service. I do not want anything free nor was paying $150.00 extra to save an hour is hurting me. The attitude of the associate and seeing the standard dropping did, as Mariott once was one of the good hotel who took care of there associates and in return associate took care of the guest. They will not be getting my business or future stays.

We got the opportunity to enjoyed a PEZ candy convention in the lobby. We weren't expecting that.

Online one price for breakfast but facility charged an additional $5 per person. Asked for room service while out and it wasn't addressed until we were back in the room 3 hours later, which was the reason I declined once they came.

Our stay was excellent. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The cleaning staff was top notch.

We enjoyed our stay at Delta Hotels. The rates were reasonable and the room was spacious. We had a little issue with the thermostat in our room, but it didn't affect our night. The location was near restaurants and the highway.

I stay here all the time very nice place

The property was generally nice, but the properties around it were not. It’s too bad, because if it was in a better location, I would have given it a higher rating.

The food was cold, breakfast awful, beds too hard. Overall I wouldn’t ever stay here again. Waste of money

Great staff!!

My wife and I work for a major airline and so we travel close to 60 times per year. This hotel is in my top 5 out of the 50 or more I have stayed in. It only had one restaurant but it was darn near perfect. Nice size, plenty of tvs and great food, breakfast and dinner. The prices were unbelievable great, especially during happy hours. You have to be careful when reading reviews. No hotel is perfect and staffs have good days and bad days, just like guest. Dont sleep on this hotel. But please sleep there. Lol

We had to ask multiple times for sheets for the pull out bed, there were stains on the benches, no towels in the pool. Only 2 towels for 4 people as well as they only provided 1 pillow for the pull out bed when they knew we had 2 kids. Hot tub jets were out of order, Elevator was out of order. Not what you would expect for a higher end hotel!

Overall a nice hotel. Well kept, spacious rooms. The staff could care less about customers and issues. The elevator was not working and they just kind of shrugged thier shoulders about it. We also had an awful sewage smell coming from our bathroom one of days and when I kindly reported it, they had zero reaction and again, just shrugged their shoulders. Felt odd.

No security on the property and young people banged on our door for a couple of times. I chased the youths and went to the desk. A relative got mad at me and it was almost a fight. There was no security and I thought with the ignorant behavior of obviously bored youths, I felt that I wanted to leave immediately. If I could of I would of left but moved our room and left the next day.

I am a frequent guest so there's a lot I enjoy about the stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This time I did not get a chance to get to the pool. But on my last several stays the jacuzzi was out of order. If it's operational my next stay I can increase my stars to excellent.

My check in went really well. The young lady was pleasant and very helpful. The hotel is just a bit old and tired I think. For example: my tub had been resurfaced and the paint was heavily peeling around the sides. Other than that I had a peaceful night sleep and that is all I really care about: clean and be able to sleep.
