Lily Hidden Homestay

The property was spacious, authentic and beautiful. We didn’t meet our host but she was so fast on replying through WhatsApp and was so accommodating and eager to meet any of our needs.

Our stay was truly wonderful in every way. The house is beautifully decorated with a modern style, and the living spaces are very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families. The location is perfect as well, right in the center and next to the lake. The beds were large and extremely comfortable. The entrance of the building may seem a little intimidating at first, but once you step inside the apartment, you are welcomed by a completely different atmosphere with beautiful design and a very cozy feeling. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and always easy to communicate with. Whenever we needed anything, we received a quick response and support immediately. As a lovely welcome gift, the host also gave us Vietnamese coffee, which was a very thoughtful gesture. Thank you so much for everything. If we visit Hanoi again, we would happily stay here again without hesitation.

The only thing I did not like was the strong bathroom smell on the second floor while going up the stairs. It was most likely coming from another apartment in the building. However, by the end of the third day, it was cleaned and the smell was mostly gone, with only a slight odor remaining.

Lily Hidden Homestay was my favourite accommodation during our entire 3 week holiday in Vietnam. The apartment is spacious and comfortable- it felt like a home away from home. Location is unbeatable if you want to stay right in the heart of the old town. It was amazing value and the host is super lovely and generous.

We didn’t mind the stairs to reach the apartment but they could be a challenge for some travellers

L'emplacement parfait dans le vieux Hanoï, tout en étant dans une rue très calme. L'hôte est très serviable, et vraiment à l'écoute de toutes nos demandes (garde des valises, arrivée tardive, départ tardif). Je recommande volontiers cet hébergement !
