Manchester stay

It was a spacious 3 bedroom house with a lovely kitchen, dining area, front drive and garden. Good location too with shopping retail park right around the corner and food options too.

The only problem was that the ensuite shower wasn't warming up however when contacting the host they tried to advise on how to fix it but it still didn't work.

Good value and helpful host

Property was generally clean, well presented with decent facilities and in a good location. The host was helpful and kept good communication.

The stair and hallway carpet in particular look grubby. It hadn’t been hoovered for a while.. Rooms were clean and well presented but let down by curtains that were fixed poorly and partially come away. We were unable to operate the Mira shower in the middle bedroom. Found the switch outside the bathroom but couldn’t raise the temperature. The TV remote was tricky to operate as not used a Samsung before. Some clear direction on how to use would have been helpful as easy once you know how.

Nice big rooms

Shower in the on suit room 1st floor didn’t work, coffee machine didn’t work, the bed in 1st floor was not comfortable at all, and the worse one the noise from main road of passing cars are very loud, had very restless sleep.

Dangerous, dirty and definitely not as advertised. Hosts and Booking.com should be ashamed.

Nothing. It was horrendous and we feel we have been ripped off by the hosts and Booking.com. Worst paid for accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Safety. Kitchen smoke alarm had been trapped in clingfilm to prevent it functioning! One bedroom had an ironing board set up, with the iron plugged in. The cable was frayed exposing the wires. This was in the bedroom to be used by young children. The other bedroom for another child was also dangerous as the outside door handle fell off, risking the child being trapped inside. Cleanliness - the house is filthy. Grotty carpets, unspeakable shower and toilet mats, dirty cups, wet towels left in washing machine, food encrusted cutlery, used washing up facilities, curtains falling off the rails, half eaten packets of foodstuff in the cupboards. Facilities - sleeps 6 but barely enough facilities for 3. Only a 4 person dining table, settee only big enough for 3, only 2 cups (both dirty) and 3 glasses. There is no "luxury' as advertised. It is barely habitable in the state it has been presented. It was so bad, we had to leave after one night and stay somewhere else.

Horrendous

I liked how close the property was to where I needed to be (coop live arena) aswell as it being a short taxi journey from centre of town which is something I prefer too, we also were able to get an early check in too.

Me my friend and partner stayed here and the house was a mess in our eyes, we walked in looked nice and then we seen that there had been a wash left in the washer that hadn’t been taken out, the carpets need a major clean, the walls and loads and loads of marks on, the toilet had dirty toilet roll in, one of the door handles were extremely loose and thought it was going to fall off, bed linen was dirty , counter tops were dirty along with the glasses which had to be washed again by us before use, there was some sort of animal poo in the garden, There was also a tub of empty bbq sauce on a radiator upstairs aswell as the strong smell of cannabis that hits you in the face as soon as you walk through the front door, along with the curtains hanging on for dear life and holes around the house on the walls where things have been nailed and screwed into walls and not patched up.

Would definitely stay here again

Great location, around £6-£7 in an uber or bolt to the city centre. Was nice and clean, fitted with a large tv and could watch Netflix. Nice and spacious so if you are with a large group you aren’t on top of each other. Would definitely stay again

We were checking out on the Monday and the house manager came by and unlocked the door on the Sunday afternoon while myself and my friend (two young females) were home alone. It came as quite a shock to us as we didn’t know who he was and it was a man entering. It of course was a mistake I think he thought we were leaving on the Sunday but it gave us quite the fright. The large bins at the side of the house also were quite full so we couldn’t put our rubbish in properly.

Great house, but poor communication from the host, especially about the unmade beds+missing sheets.

The house was very comfortable and spacious. We were five people, and there were three bedrooms with double beds in each. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. They provided us with coffee, team and milk, which was a nice touch.

I didn’t like that the beds weren’t made, even though we had specifically asked about it in advance. The host didn’t mention that we have to search for sheets and make the beds ourselves. Even on the second day, they didn’t tell us where the sheets were—we eventually found some in the washing machine!

Stressful beginning as not being able to get into the property and the owner not beinh contactable for 4.5 hours

The location was good, only 15 minutes from Manchester centre

When arriving at the property we were unable to get in as the key was not in the key safe, the owner did not answer any messages or phone calls for 4.5 hours. Luckily we managed to find the key balancing on the letter box. There was no plates, bowls or cutlery. There was also some dirty underwear left in the bathroom of one of the bedroom.

Won’t be using this again needs a big refurbishment. Needs a deep clean.

The location was good for belle vue stadium. Retail shops were close.

There was not enough mugs glasses cutlery. It could have been a lot cleaner,lots of dust on tile edges,skirting boards. Oven was dirty. Holes in doors. The windows and doors didn’t shut very well. Downstairs toilet light didn’t work. The bedside light on first floor didn’t work. There was rubbish down the side of the house in front of the gate. Bins outside were full. The bath was filling up with water due to the plug hole being full of hair. The ironing board was still up in the top bedroom. Door handles falling off on top floor. The fridge doesn’t seal properly because the seal has split causing the fridge to freeze the contents.

it was okay for a short stay

Very beautiful property and accessible to every thing when needed.

We got left with no tea towels and only for 1 towel for each room, the sofa had stains and the stairs were not the clean.

Ok, could be better

Nice comfortable house, big beds, good location

I asked for sheets for the sofa bed on arrival. This was confirmed but on arrival there wasn’t any. The sofa bed also wasn’t really a sofa bed, it wasn’t fit for purpose and had cushions missing to be able to use it properly. It was also really dirty. We message the owners to ask about the use of the sofa bed and was it really meant for a child and we received no reply. One of the guests had to book a hotel as the sofa bed could not be used. The property has the potential to be great if the owners fix a few details: 1) Please don’t call it a sofa bed when it isn’t. 2) Door handles need fixing on upstairs bedrooms 3) Holes in the wall need fixing on upstairs bedrooms 4) The house needs a really good deep clean 5) Provide Tea towels for guests to use

Beautiful

Love love love love, Home from home, Beautiful large tv, Beautiful bedrooms with soft mattresses and neatly prepared, Milk sachets left in the fridge and coffee capsules left out, Heating was also on as we stepped in and it smelt fresh, Lovely host and was quick with responses and check in details. Awful place!

NOT a luxury stay and NOT adequate for 7 people. NO bedding for sofa bed, I had a text after several attempts of trying to phone, saying to use the throw. Appalling. Kitchen equipment - 2 teaspoons, 2 dessert spoons, 4 knives, crumbs on worktop, dirty lid in microwave and dirty microwave, no tea towel, only 6 sheets of kitchen roll, dirty crockery and glasses and faulty kettle which we were afraid to use. -Smashed mirror glass on the carpet and under the bed in the top upstairs bedroom and only the nozzle of the hoover worked. -Headboards, sides of bed and under bed were splattered with something, dirty, dusty and littered with rubbish. Curtains were hanging off the rail in lounge and there were no blinds even though it's very overlooked (one broken blind on the floor) -Very little toilet paper and no hand towel in the downstairs toilet, broken toilet seat -Sticky floor in ensuite -Dirty sofa with sweet wrappers down the side -Spillage marks down the back of the bedside tables -Bathroom paintwork dirty with splash marks that looked like blood - 2 half used mini body lotions (it stated toiletries provided) -Smelly, dirty cleaning cloths left in the washing machine -Windows filthy - the 13 plug in and reed diffusers were overwhelming and obviously trying to mask a smell. -cigarette butts on the front garden. - bedroom handle fell off - hole in wall where door handle had hit Definitely NOT professionally cleaned and sealed between each stay as stated. We were travelling with 3 people over 70 for my son's birthday treat and we spent the first hour cleaning and trying to get some answers. NOT acceptable.

Immaculately clean property. If I happen to stay in Manchester again, this is ideal for family living.
