The broken shower, zero water pressure that kept going freezing cold, the heating was very bad therefore it was freezing cold, the extra bed had a dip in the middle, there was only 2 rolls of toilet paper which led us to buy more, very poor quality for price, conditions too strict, mold in the bathroom curtains and window area

Not awful but not great unfortunately
Bed was comfortable check in was easy and location was great price was reasonable for the stay and location along with amenities provided the photos matched the property and the ability to watch netflix and YouTube on the TV was great
Strange stain on the bedding which we ended up having to wash before we could sleep with it the bed was also quite noisy every time you rolled we could hear it squeeking. All the utensils we went to use were also a little bit dirty so we had to wash them again before using The fire alarm went off due to a guest on the floor below us burning something luckily no fire as the alarm could not turn off without the owners using the key. We tried to contact them multiple times before eventually getting so frustrated with the noise that me and my partner had to call the fire brigade to come turn it off. We also had a bit of an issue trying to get the heating to work as it would constantly lower itself or turn off

Nice location and apartment, but it was extremely cold
We really liked the location, and the apartment looked exactly like in the pictures.
The main thing that bothered us the most was the heater. When we arrived, it was 14 degrees inside the apartment. We tried many times to turn the temperature up, but it didn’t work, and we were freezing. There was also a slightly strange smell when we first came in, but it disappeared after a while. However, the low temperature in the apartment was a real struggle for us. The highest temperature we were able to reach was only 16 degrees.

Appalling customer service
It was clean and had the potential to be a good accomodation if the company would focus on delivering good customer service and not just prioritise profits!
The biggest let down was the fact that you could not get in touch at all with staff from the company! The only way of communicating was through the message option on booking.com, but even there you would get automated messages. If you call, no one responds. If you message the number their provide, no on answers. So good luck getting in touch with anyone if you experience issues, which we did. The central heating was not working so for a whole night we had to rely an electric heater while it was 0 degrees outside! You can imagine the frustration of trying to get in touch with someone when you are faced with this. We had to contact booking.com customer service to get help, and even they couldn't reach the company at all. Luckily, they ended up changing our check out date and we got a refund for the remaining nights and booked different accomodation in town. There were other minuses too. The shower was barely working, the furniture was so cheap it was falling apart, and the apartment felt clinical and not cosy at all. Like I said, you can tell they care more about making easy money without putting any care in customer service nor experience. Book at your own risk. If you don't experience issue, it can be a good enough accomodation. If you do, good luck getting in touch with anyone.

Generally ok
Room was clean, warm and comfortable. All kitchen utensils are supplied. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels which was nice.
Couldn't cancel a date without losing all monies, so moved it from July '25 until January '26. The shower stopped working after 30secs, I did leave a voice mail but didn't hear back. The next day it worked but wasn't warm. The bathroom extractor fan makes a constant extremely loud unhealthy noise. The iron leaks hot water. Had no idea how to operate the plug in electric counter stove, no instructions anywhere so couldn't make the dinner we had planned. Cushion on the sofa had a big dirty mark on it.

Staying in Salford Pillo Rooms
Room on second floor (in duplex) was lovely and spacious. Kitchen was practical and most utensils were there, though spatulas were grubby. Heating was easy to operate abd so accommodation was warm. Cupboard with cleaning equipment and lamps was good. Security into main building and our apartment door were very good.
Not enough linen and hard to get hold of staff due to seasonal holiday and weekend. No keys for locks on windows. We had to maneuvered ariel for TV (like in the old days) and only had bbc stations - not smart TV. Lots of general wear and tear and unfinished work to be done (ie. Toilet roll holder, cupboard door in bathroom).

Will never stay again.
I requested a quilt as the heater wasn’t working properly and was told it will cost £25 gbp for the quilt, when none was provided and with the ridiculous climate control in the apartment - this was shameless.
