Excellent base for a weekend in Manchester

It had heating and we didn't feel cold.

Bad location (40–50 minutes walking to the city center), dirty, and with poor facilities for cooking food in a healthy way. But the worst part is that they ask for a £250 deposit one day before check-in (something that is not explained in the description). They also ask you to send this deposit through a method outside of Booking, which is actually prohibited on the platform and makes it feel like a potential scam. If you don’t pay it, they won’t provide the check-in instructions. It was horrible to argue with them and with Booking on the same day I was traveling to Manchester. In addition, the apartment needs maintenance because there are many things to fix (I only took photos of the door handles, but there are more issues). Finally, they don’t offer clear and simple instructions; instead, they send you three pages full of prohibitions, even though only two sentences are actually important.

Easy to get into Central Manchester

Quiet neighbourhood, offsttreet parking for 2 cars. Lock box for easy check in. Great communication throughout. We were going to a gig at the 02 Ritz which is about 30 mins walk away. As we arrived late we got an uber which took 3 mins to arrive. We did get stuck in traffic once in Manchester so allow plenty of time to get there. I had to pay a £250 deposit, but this was refunded immediately upon receipt of my bank details. Very spacious. 2 bedrroms had double beds, one very large, and the 3rd bedroom had a dbl bed and a single. Nice living room, and nice back garden.

Some areas could do with a bit of TCL but this didn't spoil our stay.

1. Deposit £250 is too expensive and requested to deposit in personal account before staying a few days ago. It should be stated in the terms of this accommodation policy. 2. No bulb installed at the ceiling of stairs. 3. The Bathroom Cabinet is damaged. 4. Dust & cleanliness is not acceptable.

House is as described in the listing and photos, although a bit dated. Host was extremely helpful up to arriving and during our stay. Close to supermarket and large park. Driveway it a bit tight for a large car, although there is plenty of street parking out of the front.

The location was good close to Wilmslow Road.

As soon as we entered the property the first thing we were hit with was a very bad smell. The smell continued throughout the house. Unfortunately all the bedrooms had a bad smell. The bedding also had a stench. It was very difficult to sleep because of the smell. The bathroom had lots of bugs , the bathroom sink would not drain. Overall not a very pleasant experience unfortunately.

Lovely house for 5 guests. The gate and CCTV camera make it feel safe. Good location to supermarket.

Very good location, a 5-minute walk to the Asda superstore. We could buy food and store it in the large fridge. Good facilities in the kitchen, including a dishwasher. The beds were comfy and clean. The rooms are simple and plainly furnished, so there was plenty of room for us 5 guests and all our luggage. At first, I couldn't access the key box because I forgot to pay the security deposit. However, I rang the host, and he had everything sorted within 10 minutes. We then got in with no issues.

I would recommend a small bin in the bathroom for waste or women's sanitary products. We used a small plastic bag which was fine for 2 nights. Apart from that, the house was fantastic. The beds and sofa were comfy, and it was spotlessly clean.

Pleasant

The places are big, but there is only one toilet, not enough for 6 people. The beddings are not so clean and the furniture is outdated. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. A free carpark space is provided. A deposit must be paid in advance. The landlord is very nice and immediately repaired the damaged door lock of the toilet. All deposits are also refunded on the day of departure.

The shower head cannot be fixed and the water temperature is not easy to adjust

A completely inappropriate set up for a family stay. we weren’t made to feel welcome

It was in a quiet location close to Old Trafford football stadium.

It was shabby , poorly maintained, the decor was basic and cheap. There were no chairs in the bedrooms, no plug in the basin in the bathroom, the shower was falling off the wall, the door handle in the bathroom fell off in my daughters hand threatening to confine her to the bathroom. I was pestered by the owner for ID and a £250 deposit against breakages on arrival, which i refused to pay. Frankly I was appalled and would never consider such a property again. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The location is in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from the city centre. The property is exactly like what has been advertised. The property has 3 bedrooms and 1 huge living hall. Parking on-site is also very convenient in the compound itself.

This house are very spacious, got private car parking in front of the entrance, and also got a spacious kitchen with fully kitchen equipment, so we make our own simple dinner, this house got a feeling like home, and also very comfy, will recommend to friend, if I visit to Manchester, i will book to stay again.

The bathroom water heather temperature are not stable, the water suddenly hot, and suddenly cold, very hard to adjust, hope the owner can fix the problem.

Great location, lovely and clean and well equipped. The off road parking was a bonus and there was even tea and coffee in the cupboard when we arrived. Very happy indeed
