Excellent place to visit the city

Great little studio with kitchen facilities and a huge TV! Comfortable bed and sofabed. It was a nice touch to have tea/coffee, biscuits and a few condiments available for cooking. We managed to park for free right outside which was great, although driving round the city was quite narrow for a large car! It was an easy walk to the cathedral.

The hot water tank seemed to be quite small, so we couldn't have 3 showers in a row.

Unfortunately the WiFi wasn’t working. It wasn’t a huge issue but would have been better for some work bits I needed to do. Suggestion for bath sheets in the bathroom rather than the smaller towels. Same, not an issue but would give a better experience 😊

Love Chartres! Love this apartment!

The location of this property is perfect! So convenient for the town centre but so quiet, safe and secure. Lovely walks nearby. Very quiet neighbours. Great friendly bar just down the road and lots of restaurants in and around the town. Parking is great right outside the property. The lock box was the easiest ever to use. The lift was a bonus and the communal areas of the apartment block were lovely and clean. The apartment is newly decorated and modern, bright, airy and well equipped, a really well thought out design. It is spacious and perfect for two people. It was lovely to have a washing machine, coffee machine and oven. The bathroom is great and lots of hot water with nice lighting and lovely towels. Communication with Kevin our host was brilliant and a nice brochure and plenty of leaflets in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and nice quality bed linen. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you Kevin!

Beautiful place, feels like home!

The structure is very new and only 10 min walk from cathedral. Very well equipped. Kevin was a wonderful and very helpful host! Left us welcome coffee, tea and madeleines. 😋

La communication très précise et en temps et en heure des renseignements d'accès au logement. L'accueil en général, le livret avec code wifi, le plateau thé, café d'accueil, la propreté...

d'avoir à retrouver le code boite pour rendre les clefs... je n'avais plus de batterie téléphone... C'est du vécu, mais il fallait bien trouver quelque chose à écrire de défavorable !

Séjour parfait dans appartement joli, confortable à 2 pas de la cathédrale, pourtant calme.

Nous étions agréable surpris par cet appartment décoré avec gout, localisé à quelques pas de la cathédrale et pourtant dans un quartier calme. Kevin était très communicatif/ réactif. Il nous a guidé à distance, notamment pour le parking (très facile pour se garer). L'appartement était spacieux, literie très agréable, bien équipé, café, thé, salle de bains avec tout dont on avait besoin. C'était clair que chaque détail était réfléchi, aussi bien au niveau goût que confort. On recommande vivement !

Очень удобное расположение. Близко к центру, в пешей доступности. И что важно, машина здесь же под окном и бесплатно. Получили очень подробные инструкции по заселению. Апартаменты удобные, чистые. Особенно понравилась душевая кабина. Люблю современную сантехнику. Не нашла в описании апартаментов, но там есть стиральная машина. Очень большой телевизор. Просто отличный отдых.

Très satisfaite. Cela est très rare de trouver un logement parfait en tout point. Propre, spacieux, propriétaire agréable et réactif. Logement bien situé,nous avons pu tout faire à pied.

Le problème du stationnement. Se garer devant le logement nécessite d' être un stationnement gênant. Mais les parkings plus bas sont plus accessibles. Par contre le prix est élevé.

sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Chartres

Sehr ruhige Wohnung in direkter Nähe zur Innenstadt. Gut und angenehm eingerichtet, Küche und Bad gut ausgestattet. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit geduldigem Gastgeber. In der Sackgasse konnte das Auto nahe der Wohnung gut abgestellt werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Het is een heel mooi, verzorgd en bijzonder schoon appartement. Je zit heel dichtbij de gezellige stad Chartres. We verbleven hier samen met onze dochter één nacht i.v.m. onze terugreis naar Nederland. We wilden heel graag nog wel een nachtje blijven. Aanrader!

L appartement est spacieux et très lumineux, au calme tout en étant au pied de l'église ST pierre. très bien placé. Correspond tout a fait aux photos de l annonce. Notre hôte, Kevin, met tout à disposition pour avoir les infos sur la villes, les sorties, les restos... très réactif, il répond tout de suite aux messages. je vous recommande ce petit cocoon, pour un beau séjour à Chartres.

Perfekte Lage für die Altstadt, die Kathedrale und die abendlichen Lichtinstallationen von Chartres!

Wir wollten 'Chartres en lumieres 2025' erleben. Zu den Orten, die beleuchtet werden gehört auch die Kirche St. Pierre -nur wenige Schritte von der Ferienwohnung entfernt (das Gebäude neben dem Fachwerkhaus). Alle Lichtinstallationen sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Kathedrale wird spektakulär in Szene gesetzt! (https://www.chartresenlumieres.com) In dieser hübschen, kleinen und ruhigen Wohnung kann man als Paar bequem übernachten. Über die Terassentür kann man das Gepäck einfach über ein Gartenmäuerchen direkt aus dem Auto in das Studio-Appartement ein-/auspacken. Die ausliegenden Informationen des Gastgebers sind hilfreich. Über die bereitgelegten Kaffeekapseln (und Tee) mit Keksen haben wir uns gefreut. Danach wußten wir, welche Kaffeemaschine bereit steht und konnten entspannt den Nachschub einkaufen. Der Vermieter ist gut zu erreichen und hilft bei der Parkplatzsuche oder anderen Fragen. Wir können das Studio unbedingt für einen Kurzurlaub empfehlen.

Parken sollte man in der Straße nicht - Achtung! es wird abgeschleppt! Kostenpflichtige Plätze zu finden ist glücksache. Das Parkhaus in relativer Nähe ist günstiger als die Bußgelder, die während unseres Aufenthaltes jeden Tag verteilt wurden. Wenn man das weiss, kann man sich darauf einstellen.

Een licht appartement in een somber gebouw

De foto van het historische vakwerkhuis met torentje is het pand van de buren. Dat is op z'n minst verwarrend. Het werkelijke pand is een rommelig en somber appartementengebouw. Maar als je eenmaal binnen bent, blijkt het appartement netjes en licht. De keuken en badkamer zijn mooi en fris en er is een fijne douche.

Eén rolluik is defect en mogen we niet openen, lazen we op een papiertje. Dat zorgt voor een donkere hoek en dat is jammer. De toiletpot zit los en wiebelt. De keukenkraan zit los. Er zitten vlekken op het plafond en de muur boven het aanrecht. Er is weinig bewegingsruimte rondom het bed. Als je 's nachts naar het toilet wilt, moet je over je partner kruipen. Bij het bed is één stopcontact en één schakelaar voor een felle lamp boven het bed. Idealiter bevinden zich aan beide kanten van het bed stopcontacten en schakelaars voor twee afzonderlijke bedlampen. Toch hadden we een prettig verblijf in Chartres.
