Perfect accommodation for a stay in Chartres

Great location, super close to train station and to Chartres centre for Brasseries etc. Secure parking was massively helpful. Apartment itself was lovely and comfy and small touches like condiments and spices in the kitchen really made the difference. The host is excellent at communicating too.

Ideal location to walk around and see the historic town and cathedral.

Very spacious appartment with one bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath and a fully equipped dining/kitchen with a balcony containing a table and 4 chairs. The spacious sitting room has 2 day beds, so the appartment will sleep 4. Only 10 minutes to walk to the town centre, where there are plenty of shops and eateries, but some do not open on Sundays and Mondays.

The secure parking is in the basement and the access ramp is steep with a 90 degree turn at the bottom. It was a squeeze for a BMW 320.

We liked the design of the Studio room, Charming outlook and atmosphere and safe parking. Good location for walking into town centre. Would certainly book this accommodation again if visiting the area.

If you look for a charming and welcoming stay in Chartres, this is an excellent place to go.

The property was well located in the city centre so we could do everything by walking. The host was very friendly and gave nice advices. We were very well welcomed with sweet small attentions like fresh water, candies for our son and a homemade jam. Nice as well that the property has a secured parking spot.

A reasonable family accommodation in Chartres

Space-wise it was good for our family of 4. The washer and dryer were amazing to have access to and with no additional charge. There is private and quite secure parking which was important to us as we were able to leave some things (like our road bikes) in the car. The location was easy access into the centre of Chartres.

A few things the pictures and the description of the property don’t show you. The garden view is actually a view over the shared parking area with a bit of gardens around the sides of it. The kitchen wasn’t as equipped as we would have liked. The bedrooms are actually adjoining and the only bathroom is in the main bedroom so a little bit awkward if you are going to bed after the children or if anyone is getting up in the night.

Tastefully furnished and well-equipped appartment near the centre of Chartres.

The apartment is in a very good location, close to the centre of Chartres, ten minutes walk from the SNCF station, and on one of the main roads into the city from the South, with its own car park. So, a good location for a short break or a stop-off. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and well-equipped.

I guess the layout of the rooms was perhaps not ideal, as the bedrooms can only be reached from each other, and the toilet & bathroom are in the main bedroom. So for a family of five like ours, the kids had to walk through our room to get to theirs; and had to come into our room to go to the toilet/bathroom. That's probably the only thing I'd change, or might like to have understood better before we got there or before we booked.

Schöne Wohnung. Jederzeit wieder.

Sehr gute Lage, fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Ein großer Vorteil war ein Parkplatz im Innenhof. Die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht. Über das Willkommensgeschenk, ein Glas selbstgemachter Aprikosenmarmelade, haben wir uns sehr gefreut (sehr lecker !). Sehr schöne Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Chartres.

Tout, c’est pratique, en centre-ville, confortable et la propriétaire nous accueille toujours très gentiment (cela fait plusieurs fois que nous y séjournons en famille).

Si je reviens à jour à Chartres, je réserverai sûrement de nouveau là.

L'accueil rapide et sympathique de la propriétaire. La possibilité de de recharger mon véhicule électrique pour un prix modique, L'équipement complet du logement. L'emplacement proche du centre ville.

La chambre un peu bruyante à cause de la rue à proximité.

Pas pendant une canicule

L'appartement est charmant, situé dans un bel immeuble dont une partie est occupée par des professions libérales. L'accès à la cour / parking est immédiat pour le véhicule arrivant. Les clés sont remises en personne, ce qui est bien et rare. Le wifi est bon avec une bonne vitesse. La salle d'eau a un volume satisfaisant. La cathédrale est à +- 1km.

Après 3 jours de chaleur (32-34°), l'appartement a surchauffé malgré nos précautions (28° à 23 h); le ventilateur n'est pas suffisant à ce niveau de prix. Les ruelles de lit sont étroites: on n'y passe que de profil. La TV a les dimensions d'un écran d'ordi.
