Amazing and cozy place at an incredible value right next to the cathedral

Amazing location and exceptional value for the space provided bang in the historic centre of town. This apartment sleeps 4 comfortably at a price that is less than a single room in a hotel and you get a fully equipped kitchen with all facilities.

Small “niggle” hard to find first time (my google maps stopped working!) but the lady who manages it is incredibly nice (but I had to use my rusty French to communicate effectively). So, overall just print instructions ahead of time to avoid a small panic!

Great location, super helpful host. Comfortable and well equipped.

Smelly toilet (probably because on a macerator as it’s a very old building). The flat was scented with plug ins to cover it up and that perfume was very strong, but basically there’s a problem with the odour from the toilet.

Everything is great! This is the place to stay in Chartres.

This is the place to stay in Chartres. Two good boulangeries are just steps away, as are many good restaurants and the cathedral. It would be hard to find a better location. The host left a goodie basket including coffee pods (the machine uses Nescafé pods) and snacks. The apartment is thoroughly modernized in a very old building, so has much more charm than a modern hotel. We liked it so much we extended our stay. If we return we will try to book here again. Ten out of five stars!

Just a nit, but when the building was remodeled they could have widened the wooden staircase by a few inches. Getting our suitcase up was a bit tight. But that certainly wouldn’t deter me from staying there.

Dialogue avec Lisa très sympa. Accueil via SMS/telephonne facilite l'installation rapide. Le logement est parfait pour un séjour sans prise de tête. L'équipement est complet et confortable. La situation en plein cœur du vieux Chartres est idéale.

Central et très fonctionnel

Très central, très pratique, cela m'a permis de découvrir cette magnifique ville de Chartres. Bien agencé, l'endroit idéal pour découvrir la ville.

Pas du tout un défaut, juste un petit clin d'œil, l'aspect d'expérience très ludique pour arriver à l'appartement. En fait j'ai beaucoup aimé, ça m'a fait sourire.

Zwischenaufenthalt bei der Urlaubsrückfahrt

Die Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Innenstadt. Dazu die Ruhe, trotz der Innenstadt. Jede Menge Restaurants und Geschäfte waren schnell zu erreichen.

Die Schlüsselübergabe und die Absicherung über einen Provider mittels zusätzlicher Kaution, dazu gab es bei Booking.com keinerlei Informationen, diese erhielten wir erst während der Fahrt.

Centraal en zeer rustig in autovrij gebied bij de kathedraal

Leuk, zeer centraal en rustig gelegen appartementje op de eerste verdieping van een (zeer) oud gebouw, op struikelafstand van de kathedraal en restaurants. Oud, maar schoon en compleet (ik zag zelfs een wasmachine). Prima bed in de slaapkamer. Uitstekende WiFi en groot tv-scherm met streaming diensten zoals Netflix. Alleen te voet bereikbaar, ca. 6 minuten van grote parkeergarage Cathedrale.

De kussens, het dekbed en de matrasbeschermer van het bankbed zijn dringend aan vervanging toe! We moesten 500 euro borg per creditcard afrekenen met het advies om foto's te maken (?) en ID kopie sturen, terwijl Booking al onze gegevens heeft. Voelde lastig en onveilig onderweg.

Appartement idéalement placé dans le cœur de Chartres

Appartement à deux pas de la cathédrale avec les commerces et restaurants à proximité immédiate, tout en étant très calme. Lit confortable, télé connectée. Lisa est très pro et disponible. Nous avons eu un problème d’eau chaude. Elle a tout mis en œuvre pour résoudre ce souci et nous a dépanné rapidement.

Les modalités pénibles à réaliser avant d’arriver (empreinte carte bleue pour la caution et photocopie de pièce d’identité).

Appartement très propre et très silencieux. On a passé une excellente soirée. Les équipements sont au top et le café d’accueil et les petites douceurs extrêmement bienvenue. ( surtout après 4h de marche :-).

Tout. L’appartement était extrêmement propre, les draps/serviettes de bains était inclus dans le prix et une qualité d’hôtel, super bien situé (à 2 pas de la catedral), bien isolé, bien chauffé, hôtesse super gentille, disponible, un petit plateau de bienvenue,… franchement toute était parfait.

L’absence de stationnement… j’ai du laisser la voiture loin, mais c’est à cause de la ville, nous étions juste à côté de la catedral, les rues étaient étroites et dédiés aux piétons, donc si on veux un environnement tranquille, sans voitures, forcément on va pas se garer en bas de l’appartement 😀

Notre hôtesse était au top : disponible, accueillante et elle nous a rendu un très beau service. L'appartement en lui-même est très bien placé, en plein cœur du centre ville dans le quartier piétonnier à 2 pas de la Cathédrale. Tout le cœur de ville est charmant et nous avons pu profiter pleinement de notre séjour à Chartres. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire, l'appartement est très bien agencé et très propre, le lit est grand et confortable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les attentions de bienvenue. Nous conseillons à 100% l'appartement, vous y serez comme chez vous.
