Le lit un peu mou pour nous

It was just delightful. I would return if staying in the same city.

We were welcomed by the host who showed us around the property. He was very friendly and helpful. The property was in excellent order and very clean throughout. There is an excellent shower and washing machine, which we found extremely useful after three weeks of travelling. Then there's a well-equipped kitchen with good cooking pots, cutlery, etc. The dining area off the kitchen was perfect. There was also a small table and chairs outside for breakfast, which we really enjoyed. The living space was comfortable, well-lit and excellent to sit in after a day of sight-seeing. The bed was great with lots of storage. The Cathedral is maximum 10 minutes walk away and near the Office de Tourisme. The shopping streets, bars and cafes are a little further, maybe 15 minutes walk. Chartres is a beautiful city. I'd really recommend this property if you visit there, especially compared with some of the awful places we experienced on our travels. It was a real haven. Nice and quiet, away from all hub-bub. Nothing at all, although a bottle opener/corkscrew would be useful.

Ottima sistemazione in pieno centro della splendida Chartres, buone dotazioni. Gestione del tutto autonoma, l’host risponde comunque immediatamente ai messaggi per qualunque esigenza. Il mio appartamento era Le jardin de l’eure al piano terra con piccola corte esterna con tavolo e sedie. Tutto molto grazioso il piccolo parcheggio esterno e’ a pagamento in alcuni orari e non prevede la lunga sosta. Io ho utilizzato con abbonamento il Q Park Cathedral distante 10 minuti a piedi.

Tutto perfetto, unici appunti, per noi italiani la mancanza del bidet e anche in questo caso, come nella maggioranza delle case in affitto, la dotazione di pentole antiaderenti che a causa di ospiti poco attenti vengono subito rovinate da graffi non proprio graditi, quanto sono meglio le pentole in acciaio, più resistenti.
