Great appartment - but support from host not acceptable

Location of apartment Newly renovated apartment

Host was 1h20min late for check-in with no pre-warning. We had several issues during out stay that the host did not react to timely - free parking not available most of the time, no hot water etc.

Overall a very good location and flat for the centre of Chartes.

Location was very good and easy to walk up the hill into town. Parking is essential in Chartres if you come by car, so this is a big plus. Very good size flat. Beds very comfortable. View of the lovely River Eure.

Hot water was NOT hot - just warm. The floor was sticky so this could be cleaned better. Only one towelling sheet - not very large and NO face towel. Parking would be a problem for a large car - this should be noted on the webpage. The bunch of keys do NOT fit in the special key security box outside the flat, so we wasted lots of time sorting this out. Management take ages to respond to questions through Booking.com facility - blaming IT problems, etc. They did not even respond to some questions. We received pre-Arrival emails well AFTER arrival, and then pre-departure emails literally after we had arrived for a few days. Apparently the managers, Autrimo, look after 80 units. All of these issues are so simple to correct and then I would give them 9 or 10 on 10, but now only 7 on 10. So simple - get these problems SORTED.

The heating was very good, the apartment was very clean,

There was no breakfast, the dishwasher had dirty water still to be drained and food residue, we could not use it. The washing machine also had 1/2 the drum full of water. there was no clothes washing detergent. The shampoo / shower gel provide was a 50 ml tube of body wash per person. There were 2 water glasses with large cracks on the shelf to be used. there were 2 coffee pods, no milk or sugar. There were 3 tea bags, again no milk, we did not get to see the host or their representative and when we spoke to the representative he could only just speak English. We had to walk to another address to collect the keys.

De tudo, apartamento de grandes dimensões, quartos maiores do que o habitual. Decoração bonita e moderna. Limpo e muito agradável. Eletrodomésticos pouco usados e todos a funcionar na perfeição. Estacionamento privativo e seguro nas traseiras do prédio. Zona tranquila e com alguns restaurantes na rua.

Acho que os mails com as últimas informações com os códigos para as chaves e para o wifi, foram enviados muito tarde, pois foi durante o voo da chegada e não tive logo acesso ao mesmos a partir do meu telemóvel. Tive de telefonar para o nº do telemóvel indicado na reserva, para me explicarem onde ir buscar as chaves, e o senhor que atendeu não foi muito agradável, mas tudo se resolveu pelo melhor. Sugiro que enviem os mails com as últimas informações do alojamento com mais antecedência e não quando o cliente está dentro do avião ou já em chão francês, a conduzir em direção ao alojamento.
