Sweet Home Santa Croce

The location is great. Just a short distance for everything you want in Firenze. The place is clean and beds were comfortable.

It would be nice to have a few capsules for the coffee machine and soap for the dishes. Should definitely consider the stairs issue as mentioned by others.

The location, the size of the apartment. The air conditioner was great. Very modern. Fantastic views.

It would have been nice to know that we had to climb about 95 steps up to the apartment. It was okay, but it would haven been nice to know beforehand.

It was extremely close to the old town centre and some beautiful shops and cafes with some lovely views, beds were comfortable.

The hosts were quite unresponsive when we couldn’t get in and the key had broken in 37 degree heat. They state their office is only a couple minute walk from the property but it’s just over 10mins on cobble stone streets with heavy suitcases. Then after not getting in for 40 minutes due to vague check in instructions and a key breaking upon entry with no one to help. it was time to lug the suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. I’m young and active and this was a tough gig with 20kg suitcases - this should be mentioned in the description. I asked for 5 towels for 5 guests and they assured me there would be 5 - there wasn’t and I had to follow that up. No little extras to help make your stay easier eg. Has a coffee pod machine - no pods. No little olive oils or salt or pepper (not that it’s expected). Found some rotting tea bags in a water jug which they offered to come reclean the property but we didn’t feel safe leaving the property with all our belongings everywhere to let someone clean up around.
