Poplar at Finlake Resort and Spa

Sian was great with the booking, comms and information and Debbie was super friendly with the hot tub and ensuring we had everything we needed. I loved the fact we were right by the Hub and the new play equipment in the playground kept my 8 year old entertained. Having a good supply of washing up liquid and a couple of pods for the dishwasher and washing machine was very helpful. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. It was our firat Dolce Gusto coffee machine experience and we were glad of the cafetiere. Lovely big fridge freezer meant we had loads of space for our Asda delivery. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the smell of the luxury towels

We had to pay extra for the pool passes which we would never expect when paying premium rate to be on a resort with a pool but at least we managed to get some slots booked (another bug bear of mine when abroad you never book for this basic facility) but maybe that's just me comparing England to Europe

Beautiful lodge and very well equipped. Host very helpful with local knowledge. Already booked again!

great stay , would be returning in the future

Nice touches included such as free coffee pods and a bottle of wine. The carpets were either very new or well looked after, either way they were really cosy. A well appointed lodge that made for a really lovely stay.
