Nice staff and lovely room

Nothing really.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pub garden was lovely and the food was great. Breakfast was lovely with great choice. I would stay there again.

Minor - the dinner menu was a bit restrictive if you have a less adventurous palate, but very enjoyable with our choices.

Lovely property a bit of a strange area but relatively easy to get around by car A short walk to the town with some coffee shops which was nice Dinner was great service First gin was served beautifully but the second was in a short stubby not clean glass which was a shame Breakfast was beautiful a private experience an nothing was too much trouble

The rooms were really cold Windows drafty glass panelling behind windows wasn’t great as the wind still came through There was a heater in the room so assume this was to avoid the window issue as my sister stayed in a alternative room without a heater and no window issue Staff weren’t happy we had a child with us although this was preagreed with the hotel, felt like children were not welcome at all, even when it was daytime stares were given so we couldn’t sit in the bar if we could we would’ve had more drinks and spent more at the property instead we went to another business for wine and nibbles We ate dinner together no which was nice service was great in the evening really lovely and helpful server Inconsistency with drinks and serving and service in general Bathrooms downstairs weren’t clean and freezing cold
