Excellent place with very warm welcome

The room at Sherbourne House was a good size and made for a very comfortable stay. The welcome was genuinely friendly, and there were plenty of power sockets in convenient locations, which was really practical. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were nice, and the whole place was very quiet, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep.

Sherborne house is lovely would thoroughly recommend

The room was lovely large and bright with 2 huge Georgian windows. Isobel was very welcoming couldn’t do enough for us. Broadband very good lots of electric points, bed and bedding lovely in fact everything you could want was catered for. We will be back in November.

Very comfortable stay.

But the room was spacious and well furnished. The bed was outstandingly comfortable and overall my stay was very good. Parking was safely private inside the hotel grounds.

The hotel has no staff except for check-in. Therefore there is no catering at all.

Absolute lovely place to stay

The room was very spacious and clean its the first property that I’ve stayed in that isn’t freezing cold in this area. The staff was lovely and inviting, shower was lovely

Amazing. Comfy, friendly and accommodating

We have a special needs son who requires space. The staff were so accommodating about him running around and made us feel at ease. Always worry about going away but couldn’t have asked for a better place. Recommended to anyone

Attractive outside appearance,

Dirty looking carpets. Wobbly feeling beds. Shower stuck on hot. Useless soap dispenser. Intrusive traffic noise.

The room was functional but disappointing given the property was supposed to be a four star hotel

The staff were friendly. Parking was available on the property.

The room was very warm. A fan was provided in the room but this was right by the bed and fairly noisy. The mattress on the bed was very softly sprung, presumably through age. This meant that you sank down in the bed and any movement by my partner and I meant the mattress moved like a water bed. The combination of these two factors meant we both only got about three hours sleep. The decor in the room was also a bit tired.

Beautiful building, well looked after, everything very clean and the people were very friendly and helpful (accommodating our timings without a problem).

Room billed as de luxe was in fact small and without even bottled water. TV was ancient. The property no longer provides breakfast which no doubt we should have sussed out beforehand but for £130 in a small provincial place it is reasonable to assume would be provided.

Disappointing and expensive

It was a beautiful property. The room was lovely, the bathroom immaculate.

There was one member of staff until 9pm and two members of staff came in at 10.30 the next day. There was no food available at all not even a continental breakfast and the price for 1 night was £160

Really cosy spot, and well located. The rooms were small, but not too small to adversely affect my stay. My room was large enough for 2 adults.

Disappointed

Beds were comfy

Really over priced for what was offered. No restaurant. If I it wasn't a buisness trip and I had my children we would of left and found another hotel.

Not an enjoyable stay.

There were spotlights outside of my window which lit the room all night. There was noise from pipes every 15 minutes. There was noise from opening and closing of the front door at 1am. This meant I had very little sleep. There was no option for a cooked evening meal or breakfast. The room was clean and staff were friendly but I would not stay here again.

Lovely hotel but won’t be coming back due to the reasons above

Location was perfect and the room was very comfortable, the lady who checked me in couldn’t of been more helpful

The hotel and room was too hot and there was no one there from 9.00pm and I was told to leave the key at reception as I left, as a solo traveller I didn’t feel safe being in a building with no one on site , the hotel was advertised as a b&b but there was no breakfast option, the kettle in my room was broken but when I rang the hotel number there was no one on site to replace it and I was told to “quietly go down to the kitchen and I would find one there “

A beautiful property with lovely staff in a great location

Perfect location for Snetterton circuit. East parking and check in. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful, very welcoming. They supplied a very nice cold breakfast to my room for a small additional charge as I was leaving early. The room was beautifully decorated with an original fireplace and the bed was very comfortable.

It was a hot day and being at the top of the property the room was very warm. The fan supplied gave very little airflow and was noisy. Very small detail but had to sleep with windows open so some traffic noise although it didn’t stop me sleeping!

Great place and lovely staff.

The room was great and the staff were lovely, especially as we could check in early as we might have been back late that evening. Services tea/coffee etc were perfect infact more than enough, we were able to have plenty to drink. Thank you. We will be back.
