If you want unique this is the place to stay!

A very unique place to stay on this refurbished river boat. Loved sitting on deck watching site seeing boats go by. Close walking distance 20 minutes to center of Lyon. Boat slightly moved making it lull me to sleep. The owner met us and had a safe parking spot for us and he explained everything we needed to know about the boat accomodation as well as mapped out our walking tour.

Charming boat on the Saône river. Nice location, good room. Attention to shower drain.

The peniche is very charming. It's well located, walking distance to the Confluence, to Perrache train/bus station, and city centre (30min walk). The room is comfortable. You can hang out on the deck outside, which is very pleasant.

Shower doesn't drain well at all. Difficult to impossible to use the shower without having it filled with water and overflowing. Not practical and unpleasant. Same for the washing sink in the room.

Cute and comfortable

Nice combination: romantic, effective, clean and not expensive. It is better than in photos. Room (we took DeLuxe) was clean and spacious. There is a small fridge in corridor. Easy public parking on the street (you can pay by card or cash). And it is in reachable by foots distance (15 min walk) from old town and city center. Nice terrace. And they allow to bring a dog. The host is living on the same boat and he is very friendly (not sure is he speaking English as we communicated in French)

Only after breakfast and leaving we got info that both breakfast and dog is extra charge - no problem, but it would be nice to know it in advance.

Exotic place to stay on river nearby old town of Lyon

Location on Saone river quite unique also nearby old town of Lyon, car park free and owner very friendly.

It's ok if you don't have other options

Location is ok and there was AC Room is big enough and the shower works great

-Just to clarify the Parking. It's public parking on the street which means that depending on the time of day when you arrive you might have to pay or not. -there is another boat docked to this boat so that means your view out the window is of a big boat a few cm away, so there is no view at all. The other window is directly looking at the sidewalk, you don't see the water at all basically unless you're outside. -There are multiple rooms rented out on the boat so privacy is only in your room, the microwave kitchen area is shared. -the boat is rock solid so it doesn't actually feel like you're on water ( more of an observation not necessarily a negative )

Le logement est bien situé dans Lyon. La chambre est confortable, propre et bien équipée.

La communication pour l'accueil. Et le petit déjeuner avec notre hôte pas vraiment paisible... et 20€ au lieu de 14€ sur le site.

Einfach eine tolle Unterkunft, auf einem Boot auf der Saone zu schlafen ist echt eine unfassbar tolle Angelegenheit, die ich jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen kann! Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der auf Englisch alles wichtige erklärt hat Die Lage mitten im Zentrum Lyons, unweit des Bahnhofs sowie Busbahnhofs Lyon Perrache ist unschlagbar Die Größe und Geräumigkeit des Zimmers

Hausboot

Das Erlebnis mal auf einen Hausboot zu schlafen war ganz nett! Im Zimmer war alles Notwendige vorhanden! Dusche, WC, .... Die Lage war super um Lyon fußläufig zu erkunden und unser Auto konnten wir kostenlos in der Nähe des Bootes abstellen. Wer mal eine außergewöhnliche Herberge im Low Budget sucht, für den passt es!

Wenn man etwas Komfortables erwartet, ist man hier falsch. Wir bekamen Frühstück an Bord. Aber der Gastgeber machte den Eindruck, dass er froh war, als wir weg fuhren. Sein Desinteresse grenzte an Unhöflichkeit!

Würde ich nochmals buchen.

Eine originelle Unterkunft, der Besitzer war sehr nett, wir konnten an Deck frühstücken und die Nähe zur Altstadt war sehr gut.

Laut gebuchten Unterlagen sollte das Frühstück € 7.00 pro Person kosten, aber wir mussten € 10.00 pro Person zahlen. Für den Preis war das Frühstück sehr spartanisch. Kaffee, 2 Croissant, 1 kleines Weißbrot , 2 kleine Butter und Marmelade, fertig.

L’accueil des propriétaires et l’emplacement. Jolie péniche bien aménagée. Belle terrasse. Correspond au descriptif. Literie confortable. Situation pratique pour visiter la ville à pied ou avec les transports. Une belle expérience.

Bruit du micro-onde juste à côté de la cabine (une idée pour le thé ou le café : mettre une bouilloire et/ou une machine filtre), insonorisation pas terrible, on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la cabine d’à côté.

Tres correct, nous pourrions revenir avec plaisir

Emplacement, deco, petite terrasse sur le pont, petits carambars a disposition, intimité, tout a disposition, disponibilité pour un accueil plus tot que prévu, possibilité de venir avec le chien.

Accueil un peu froid a l arrivée mais plus sympathique au depart. Sans doute que nous aurions pris le petit dejeuner sur place avec un acceuil plus chaleureux et proposition de viennoiseries a la praline par exzmple. Lits un peu mou a notre gout, bruit de la bouee contre la coque la nuit.

Hausboot in Lyon.

Das Hausboot befindet sich in guter Nähe zu Fuss zur Altstadt. Gehzeit ca. 30 Minuten. Die Privatsphäre abends auf dem Schiff hat uns sehr gefallen.

Leider ging die Toilette und die Dusche kaputt. Wir konnten aber im Nebenzimmer diese benutzen. Der Besitzer war sehr bemüht diese zu flicken.

L'emplacement en plein centre, la gentillesse du propriétaire, le lieu insolite, le calme, le petit déj sur la terrasse, la proximité du centre commercial, la clim, le parking gratuit, l'entrée indépendante.

Dommage de ne pas avoir de vue sur la Saône et manquerait un petit frigo dans la chambre pour les boissons, mais ce n'est pas très grave

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Lyon auf einem Schiff

Eine Übernachtung auf einem Boot war für uns neu. Und eine TOLLE Erfahrung. Nirgends ist es schöner, als direkt am oder auf dem Wasser. Die Sâone ist ein wunderbarer Fluss. Und die Lage ist top für Lyon. In 15 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum. Besser geht's nicht. Die Dame des Hauses war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich im Umgang. Wir werden gerne wieder herkommen.
