Amazing location close to all tourist areas and good restaurant and the theatre

The location was fantastic. The apartment had all necessary cooking items.

It was a bit of a pain to pick the key up at a different location prior to entry. The building where the apartment was a quite elderly and in need renovation.

It is a place to sleep for the night but you could do better!

The location was good

The front door was broken. The building had dark passage ways to get to the broken door and these were dangerous and somehow were being held up with suspension struts with floor underneath eaten away. Inside the unit the washing machine was broken as was the coffee plunger. It was dusty with very poor lighting. It was a strange reconfiguration where I could not stand up in the bedroom, bathroom or Kitchen because the ceiling in these areas was only 1.7m ( I am 1.9 m so had to squat and bend a lot to avoid hitting my head too many times.

It did not look like the photos in the presentation. The sofa was older, well worn. To us it moines like an apartment that hosted one too many parties. The loft beds were essentially mattresses on the floor. Only 3 bath towels in the bathroom. It did not look like any of the photos! The host was rude when asked for help. Can not reccomend this property.

Cute quirky apartment, old building but great location.

Great location and very comfortable beds. Amazing view. Overall very cute, quirky, true to photos. Old building so quite dated but for us it added to the charm. Parking (paid) very close by. Very responsive host. Easy check out. Good coffee.

Key is in separate box 10mn walk away from the location. Maybe not a big deal to some but it's extra hassle when driving in the rain in city center with construction everywhere. There were dozens of DVDs but no DVD player. TV antenna made channels go in and out effectively making it not possible to watch TV.

Location was fantastic

We are travelling around France and for the same price we have stayed in more beautiful accomodation with more facilities (eg. 24 hr reception, modern bathroom) so I’m not sure it was priced correctly. I’m not saying I’m unhappy with anything, it was just maybe expensive for what it was.

Nice comfortable apartment in good location

Very good location, spacious and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The Tenant was very helpful and allowed us to stay after check out for a very small reasonable fee. Check in was easy although it was a bit inconvenient to pick up the key from another location which is 10mins walk from the actual apartment since we had luggages.

Only 4 towels were provided for 4 people for 4 nights; although there was a washing machine the towels wouldn't have dried to reuse them. The wooden staircase leading to the shaft bedroom was a bit unstable and not very safe. No lift to the apartment which is on the second floor.

Wonderful relaxing stay with family near the old Town of Lyon. Perfect location to explore the city.

It’s a top location, in the old center surrounded with top restaurants and shops. Ideally located to explore Lyon on foot. The apartment is located in a charming old building. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit outdated but for us it added to the charm. We stayed three nights with our teenagers and we all loved it.

Exceptional

The layout of the property is fantastic. It has a very cool, chic city feel about it. It is an open plan but with sufficient privacy as if you have children, they can sleep in the mezzanine. Super clean and confortable. It is in the heart of the city close to all the resultants and amenities. Highly recommended.

Carine was very responsive with us about our stay. Our accommodations worked great for our family with plenty of room. The location was amazing and walkable to all our adventures in Lyon. Our only complaint is we should have stayed for at least 3 days.

Great apartment

The location was amazing. The apartment was comfortable and clean.

Our first impressions of Lyon were crazy aggressive drivers. Every carpark was full that we had to park across the bridge 2km away and drag our bags across. We had to pick up keys from property lock box which was a ten minute walk from the apartment - not very convenient. The property management people were very helpful in giving suggestions for car parking and responded quickly to my messages. We’d arrived late Saturday afternoon. Was a bit of mucking around as we had to go back later that night to move the car to Celestins car park which was very close. The apartment was great but entry to floors looked very dodgy and dark. But don’t judge by first impressions. Our son slept in the loft and was bitten by something both nights. So bad, to the point he swapped beds on the second night. We didn’t see any evidence of bugs though. We can only hope it was mosquitos as we had one window ever so slightly ajar for air flow. Although realistically too cold in early January for mosquitoes…. The apartment is very nice, comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom was small but functional. The location is excellent. On listing it claims streaming service but this isn’t the case. Not that it matters, not there to watch TV.

Good location but some maintenance needed

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with large opening windows. The washing machine and drying racks were appreciated.

The location of the lockbox for the keys was some distance (10 minute walk?) from the apartment. The bathroom was very small with restricted head height. The bathroom fan switch was faulty so the fan ran continuously disturbing sleep. The whole apartment needs a good spring clean!

Poor communication and not a clean flat

The location was good!

The management of the property and the apartment was not clean. The lighting is poor and in the summer I would not recommend this place as you will have to collect the keys far from the apartment. The apartment has not AC and it can be very hot to be in there. Got given the instructions on how to get the keys 30 minutes after arrival in 40 degrees heat. Had to walk 1.1km (with my bags) to get the keys. Once I got there I got all the wrong information about the apartment. Opened the box to the keys and there were no keys in the box. The manager, after hour of me trying to get the keys asked me if I wanted to cancel (no apology just the option to cancel). There is no lift and so if you have bags you will have to carry them up multiple flights of stairs. I would not recommend staying here to anyone. Unless you enjoy being frustrated, uncomfortable and getting ill treatment from management.

Get ready to pay a €50 surprise cleaning fee no matter how short your stay is.

Do not book here based on what may seem to be a good price. They hide the fact that there’s a €50 cleaning fee till after your credit card is charged, which is particularly galling if you stay for only a short visit. I tried in vain to get them to issue me a partial refund, but will have to move on to a chargeback with my credit card. The apartment itself was ok, but as I was traveling on a budget, the big surprise charge completely soured my mood for this place. Very shady business practice to hit your customers with a big extra bill after paying online. Is it really that hard to show the price you’ll pay upfront, all-in, in the search results?

Excellent emplacement. Nuits calmes sauf vendredi soir parce des clients du restaurant situé sous l appartement ont discuté jusqu'à 1 h du matin. Sinon tout était très bien et notre séjour réussi.

Salle de bain rédhibitoire

Pièce à vivre de belles dimensions, emplacement idéal dans Lyon, literie confortable, personnel très réactif et aimable par messages.

Il y a un vrai problème de salubrité de la salle de bain, qui, selon notre expérience, n’est plus en état de recevoir du public et doit être refaite urgemment: porte intérieure recouverte de moisissures, joints sales, aucune aération donc odeurs stagnantes (toilettes dans la même pièce) et vapeur d’eau piégées dans la minuscule pièce, aucun endroit où poser ses affaires de toilettes à part le rebord étroit de la vasque, pas de chauffe-serviette contrairement aux photos, crochet porte-serviettes à ventouses qui ne tenaient pas, et pour ne rien arranger, ménage très approximatif. Boîte à clé à 500 mètres, donc vraiment trop loin de l’appartement. Porte d’entrée quasiment impossible à ouvrir à cause d’un « dégât des eaux dans les parties communes » qui avait visiblement fait gonfler la partie inférieure de la porte, et qui nous a été annoncé par message à notre arrivée. On nous a donc demandé de ne pas fermer la porte à clé du séjour, mais même ainsi la porte était très difficile à ouvrir pour une personne seule: nous avons dû nous y mettre à deux (un pour tourner la clé, l’autre pour tirer la poignée). Machine à laver indiquée comme hors service donc inutilisable. Ces points négatifs nous ont déçus car le prix demandé était élevé, et nous ne sommes pourtant pas difficiles. Nous avons fait remonter ces remarques par message quand on nous a demandé comment se passait notre séjour, on nous a répondu qu’en effet ces deux sujets (porte d’entrée et état de la salle de bain) étaient identifiés et allaient être résolus. Néanmoins en attendant, l’appartement nous a été loué « en l’état ».
