Location was fabulous, across from the River, close to the shops, cafe’s & bakery. Easy to find as it is on a main road. Very well equipped with fans (as there is no air conditioning). A bit of steps leading up to the apartment. Can hear neighbours when they get rowdy.

Rowdy neighbours at night time, as you need peace and quiet during bed time. Which only happened once, I think perhaps they were watching soccer.

The location in the city of Lyon was good.

The owner does not indicate anywhere that you must carry your baggage first up 10 stairs, walk down a long, dark hallway with peeling paint, go up 4 more stairs, over a platform then down 4 more steps before you get to the actual small courtyard where you then climb a steep narrow staircase of 5 more stairs & then 12 more to finally get to the accommodations in the back of the building. Please refer to the included photos. It’s a strenuous ordeal for anyone with physical problems, anyone older or someone with additional luggage. Traversing this obstacle course numerous times during our stay has soured us on ever returning again. The owner should have noted this in their description. Although this accommodation does feature windows, the views are of the small, inner courtyard, not of the riverfront as you would see on Google street views. This apartment is ideal for the young or a person who is only carrying a backpack. Parking was available across the street in a public garage along the river but it is very expensive.
