We had a great stay in Lyon, enjoyed staying at this cozy apartment, but dreaded going up and down.

The apartment is very well located near transit, fine food, and Lyon’s central and Vieux Lyon neighborhoods. The neighborhood the apartment is located in is lively.

The apartment is on the top floor of a four-story building and the last flight of stairs is narrow, curving, and very steep. There is no landing at the top of the stairs. This made getting in and out with bags rather treacherous. The entrance to the apartment building is obscure because there are two doors on this street with the same address number on them. The more clearly marked door is another property. The owner was a bit aloof (we never met in person) and communicated with us only in French, despite advertising that they spoke English. We do not speak French. This language barrier contributed to misunderstanding about when the apartment would be ready.

Hidden €500 deposit scam, unsafe payment link, filthy flat, blood stains, heavy humidity stinks

Absolully nothing, bad quality property, horrible hosting experience

This was by far my worst booking experience. After paying through Booking.com, the host demands an extra €500 deposit via an unsafe SMS link — not disclosed upfront. On top of this, the deposit service charges €15 and keeps your money for 15 days, with no check-in or check-out inventory. The whole setup feels like a scam designed to keep people’s money. Communication was awful: when I arrived late at night with my children, the host ignored my calls and only texted to say I wouldn’t get the keys without paying the deposit. No empathy, no reassurance. The flat itself was terrible: dirty linen with stains and hairs, a bathroom with no window that reeks of humidity, and a top-floor location only accessible by narrow stairs — impossible with luggage and kids. Nothing inside even justifies the huge deposit they demand. I strongly advise against booking this place. The flat was horrible, the process was unsafe, and the overall experience was stressful and unacceptable.

Disappointing

the room had nothing to do with the photos. Misleading….

It was a very old loft with very dangerous stairs !!! you must almost climb to enter the apartment! if you have a suitcase or if you accompany a child is impossible to enter. It had a dirty wc and dirty floors. Almost NOthing was carefully cleaned. Old houses always need better cleaning and care!!!

Lucky it was just a one night stay because the apartment is tiny. Not suitable for families.

Quiet except for the air con.

Final flight of stairs to the top floor apartment are very steep and narrow. Definitely not suitable for large suitcases. Apartment is not suitable for families because the open sofa bed restricts movement, and there’s not enough room to lay out more than 2 suitcases, we had to leave bags in the bathroom. Only 2 seater table. Air con was a noisy portable air con that didn’t service the bedroom.

very steep narrow stairs to an attic room. water on the floor leaking from sky light in bathroom- this was the next morning after it dried from the storm the day before air conditioner very fragile the garage was 5 blocks away

Pleasant

Close to public transport, river, shops, plenty of restaurants in the area.

It is the top floor of an old building (third floor), tiny, if you are taller than 1m80 you won’t be able to stand straight in the bathroom or bedroom. There is a garage, but our Renault Espace just managed to get in and out, with only centimetres to spare, so come with a small car if you want to use these facilities.

Clean and cozy apartment. Very convenient location for overnight stay, half way between city centre and train station (and fantastic Halles de Lyon)

It's a tiny place. Not much space for your belongings, not even a hook for hanging your coat. You have to pull your suitcases to the third floor

Pas de wifi ni de tv mais pas trop grave.on a compris que Léa propriétaire n’y était pour rien. Juste nous croire. En revanche, Les odeurs dans la salle de bain ce n’est pas très agréable. Très dommage Même si on accepte d'avoir un appartement dans son jus.merci de préciser que les escaliers sont abruptes au futur client.

CASA DA INCUBO! Sporca

Unico vantaggio il garage in cui lasciare l’auto

Appartamento terrificante! Mai soggiornato in un appartamento così sporco, cucina sporca, posate con cibo incrostato, pavimento penso mai lavato , polvere ovunque, nel bagno lenzuola stese tutte che strusciavano sul pavimento sporco. Appena entri ti accoglie un odore sgradevole. Abbiamo soggiornato con una bambina ed è stato veramente un incubo. Non mi sono fatta neanche la doccia. Inoltre avevamo richiesto una culla per la bambina che non è stata preparata al nostro arrivo. La proprietaria di casa mi ha risposto dicendo dove poterla trovare (un sotto tetto pieno di roba ammucchiata sporco dove avrei dovuto piegarmi e cercare tra mille cose la culla). Da folli! Inoltre si trova all’ultimo piano con delle scale ripidissime veramente pericolose. Non lo consiglio a nessuno che voglia dormire in un alloggio decente! Un ostello sarebbe stato meglio… schifo!

Un logement confortable pour une semaine sereine

Le logement est dans un immeuble calme, à proximité de beaucoup de services. L'agencement de la cuisine était super pratique, le lit très confortable (à mon goût) et le petit portant à l'entrée de la chambre pour avoir mes vêtements accessibles ça m'a semblé extrêmement pratique, en particulier pour ne rien oublier à la fin. En bonus, le wifi fonctionnait parfaitement. Cet appartement a contribué à me rendre ma semaine plus facile.

Attention au garage un peu étroit, j'ai l'habitude mais ça peut en surprendre certains. C'est néanmoins plus pratique que le stationnement en ville qui coûte horriblement cher.

La moisissure et les odeurs de renfermé. Un problème de Vmc connu des propriétaires mais qui ne semble pas avoir dans leur adn le bien être de leur client. Aucune facture délivrée malgré l obligation. Le parquet abîmé, les peintures craquelées, l attitude des propriétaires ne reflètent en rien l annonce laissant espérant un cocoon des artistes... Un de nous étant asthmatique a dû échanger sa place et quitter l appartement

Petit appartement bien équipé et calme au 3ème étage tout près de la Bourse du Travail (Spectacles)

Aurélie est réactive et aidante - Ce petit appartement au calme est tout à fait bien équipé et agréable - pour qq qui aurait une grosse valise, attention dans le petit escalier qui mène à l'appartement au 3ème : escalier pentu.

Ce qui pourrait être amélioré c'est = d'avoir un peu en avance les codes pour accéder à l'immeuble et au logement = la propreté près du lit = une télévision + télécommande qui fonctionnent (même si cela n'est pas grave) sans avoir à déranger l'hôte.

La disponibilité de cet appartement sur une réservation de dernière minute est son atout principal. L'accès est facile

TOUT. Appartement retapé il y a déjà quelques années et en état assez moyen (parquets et mobilier usés) odeurs de moisi (du linge séchait dans l'appartement je pense), draps tachés et d'assez mauvaise qualité. Pas moyen de joindre l'hote, qui ne répond que via la messagerie booking (dont l'emplacement n'est pas vraiment intuitif) Une demande de caution de 500€ non prévue dans l'avance, avec une semi arnaque à la clé "5,99€ pour une assurance rachat de caution", bref, tout était assez en dessous des standards habituels de ce type de location.

Appartement très bien situé avec une place de parking (top pour Lyon !), arrivée et départ faciles et bien expliqués. Par contre, l'appartement est pour 2 personnes et mériterait un grand rafraîchissement (sol très abîmé, mur et canapé sales, peintures écaillées,...). Prévoyez les bouchons d'oreilles :)

Okay, wenn man kein großes Fahrzeug dabei hat

Zentrale Lage, in wenigen Minuten bei der Metro-Station, zwei ausgezeichnete Restaurants ums Eck, Unterkunft mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt.

Für uns war das Treppenhaus kein Problem, da wir sportlich sind und nur einen Rucksack dabei hatten. Allerdings ist das Treppenhaus in das 3. OG mit Koffer oder als korpulente Person nicht so gut zu bewältigen! Leider konnten wir die kostenlose Garage mit unserem VW Bus nicht nutzen, da sie zu klein war (Höhe bis 1,8m)! Die Parkkosten belaufen sich auf ca € 55.- pro Tag an der Straße neben der Unterkunft! Schade ☹️
