Quirky delight

Very quiet and quirky. Really clean and offered a variety of home comforts. Much effort gone into making a very peaceful setting.

Main bed mattress was not that comfortable. Other mattress was good. More reading material in English would be great. The steep drive was a bit of a challenge especially as we are an older couple.

Short term stay in quiet, cosy studio for 3 nights

Perfect studio for a stay of 3 nights. Spacious and cosy. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with essentials. Bonus for a comfortable bed, hot shower and Netflix. Felt like a safe area as a solo traveller - especially as Monika lives on-site. Very quiet at night with block-out blinds. Great communication with Monika and instructions given were easy to follow. Short 5 minute drive to the shopping/restaurant/beach area.

I agree with other reviews that the driveway is steep and may be an issue for a less confident driver. It was not an issue for me - just take it slow. Parking at the bottom of the driveway is suitable for a small to mid size car only. I would suggest if you have a larger car to park on the road side and walk down to the property as the turning area at the bottom is tight. I would not allow this issue to affect my decision to stay at this property.
