Our favourite place to stay, clean, comfy and so handy to everything!

We always enjoy our stay here. The beds are comfy, with lovely linens, the rooms are clean, airy and well proportioned. The particular highlight was the delightful lady on reception, who was very accommodating and so nice to deal with. We will always stay here when in Auckland.

Fabulous - I would go back there.

The room was very clean and comfortable and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The power to the spa bath was turned off at night which also turned off the hairdryer and hotpoint.

Great stay, location, free parking, soft bedding.

Beds were soft, double queens. Outdoor pool located via the basement and then up to ground level. Nice pool / area with seating options. Quiet motel with advice on how to conserve water, electricity, and towel use. This was great information. The air conditioner was fantastic. Only lacked x 2 comfy lounging chairs to sit in, most probably due to space available. Did have existing 1 x chair. The fridge was a regular small size, not a mini fridge, and the kitchenette had a sink and taps, not usually seen in hotels similar to this. Well located to restaurant bars. Lots of parking available. Staff were pleasant and accommodating, very polite.

Only lacked comfy lounging chairs to sit in, most likely due to the available space. Hair floating in the pool made me uncomfortable, but otherwise the pool was absolutely fantastic prior to noticing this.

Pillows way too high, some flatter ones would have made a big difference. Found the "family Room" too cramped. Cannot turn on TV when young kids sleeping in same studio room. Will choose another type of configuration next time

Aristotles proprietors are extremely kind and helpful.

When we arrived at New Year we received a gift of chocolate. When we left we received two ceramic gifts - one for my birthday, and one for the New Year. The staff were so friendly, and the parking excellent.

The pillows were a little hard, but we were given the opportunity for softer pillows when we discussed with management.

Easy going and friendly

Owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would of liked a room with a balcony but happy with what we got. Guests were also nice. Burgerking wouldn't give us the discount the 2 times I went there but apart from that I couldn't fault the motel. The library was a nice bonus. The kids loved reading the books. Also having the laundry with having kids was really great. Thankyou for your hospitality

Fine older hotel in good location.

Aristotles is a fine hotel in a great location if you don’t want to stay in Central Auckland. It’s in the North Shore with very convenient direct buses to the city centre. Front desk staff are very pleasant.

Starting to show signs of age/ wear and tear. Housekeeping in my room wasn’t good. Previous guests food in freezer and under kitchen sink. Long black hairs in my bedding and in the spa bath.

Very clean and great location!

Fantastic staff, very accommodating and very clean space :) Prior to my booking I forgot to ask for a Cot on the booking website so when I arrived I ask the lady at the reception if we could get a Cot for our room and without hesitation she grabbed one straight away and set it up in the room. Highly recommend!

Room was what we expected as we had stayed there before. Very conveniently located to Southern Cross Hospital and well equipped room. Awesome Indian restaurant across the road and lots of amenities nearby.
