Spacious, comfortable bed and lounge chairs, clean crisp bed linen, room temperature good, bedroom opened onto patio, easy access
Parking a bit tight. Could freshen up paintwork especially bathroom/ shower area. Particularly didn’t like use of air diffusers as not good for asthmatics.

Host upgraded our room at no cost given other room was vacant.
Cleanliness was lacking - Cockroach in drawer next to bed, carpet dirty, clutter around property. Wifi was spotty at best but didn’t work most of the time. Breakfast was disappointing. Instant coffee, bread slices, and a tiny cup of yogurt and fruit left in the refrigerator. We stayed at 10 different places during our travel through New Zealand and unfortunately this is the only one we can’t recommend.
