Very spacious and perfect location

A spacious stay with mixed positives and drawbacks

We stayed at Otter House Soi 13 in Ao Nang in the Family Room with City View. We are a family of four with two adult children, and the space was very spacious. The apartment had a separate bedroom, an open-concept living and dining area with a mini kitchen, and two bathrooms. The bedroom and the living, dining, and kitchen areas were clean. The location isn’t directly on the beach, but it’s an easy walk, passing many restaurants and shops along the way. The apartment is above a laundromat that is modern, open-air, and open to the public. This came in handy at the end of our trip since we had wet swimsuits and towels from daily excursions. There are only a few rooms, so it felt relatively quiet and private. There isn’t 24-hour staff, and you need two keys—one for the front door and one for the room. We accidentally left the front door key inside once, but luckily caught someone just before they left for the evening. The building is on a very busy street, but the room itself was essentially soundproof, and the wall-unit air conditioner worked. We chose this location because we had read many reviews of other accommodations mentioning sewer smells. While we wouldn’t normally choose to stay above a laundromat, we assumed the water would be filtered—and we were correct. There were no sewer odors.

Our room was on the third floor, and there isn’t an elevator. I had my husband to help, but it would have been challenging on my own with a large suitcase. The bedroom had low platform beds, which was difficult for weak knees, especially with two king beds placed together. The middle sleeping area was more challenging to get in and out of. The shower had several maintenance issues. The shower curtain had visible mold along the bottom, the shower floor was slimy and slick from mold and soap buildup, and the shower curtain blew inward toward your body when the water was running. Guests are required to remove their shoes before entering the laundromat area, which also serves as the entryway to the stairs leading to the guest rooms. Walking up multiple flights of hard-surface steps without shoes was inconvenient. Adding a carpeted path or runner leading to the guest rooms would make this more comfortable.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place

Great location. Close to everything but not overly loud. Clean and spacious.

The only minor issue was during check-in and it was quickly resolved. Just make sure to grab your keys AND your cards from the lockbox before you close it.

Clean, comfortable beds. It had 2 bathrooms which was useful with 4 people. TV had Netflix etc Modern and had everything you would need Locations is great and above a laundromat.

The main road could be noisy at times but that a reflection to Ao Nag not the apartment

It was very relaxing home away from home vibe!

I had the best one week stay in Otter House! I booked a one bedroom apartment that includes living, dining and kitchen area with two bathroom and balcony. It exceeded so kuch of my expectations! Theres a laundry down the building for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for long stay. There's bo elevator but manageable! We cooked during our stay because the produce in Krabi such meat and salmon are very good quality and cheap! The location is accessible to everything! Will stay here again on my next visit in Krabi!

Bright and spacious apartment

The apartment was super lovely, spacious, bright and clean. The beds are super comfy and having 2 bathrooms is bonus 😊 We liked it so much we extended it multiple times and rebooked it a month later when we went to Ao Nang again

Perfect accommodation

Spacious room with little kitchen and living room. Well equipped and clean. Location is perfect for us, not too far to the beach and also surrounded with shops, restaurants etc

Fabulous! We didn’t want to leave

We loved our time at this apartment. We stayed for 1 week and didn’t want to leave- the owners as well as cafe staff and cleaners are lovely. The rooms are huge and we couldn’t believe how much space we had. Great location and smart tv’s with Netflix, prime, multiple channels including UK tv

No pool but if you walk to Cosi hotel which is 1/2min walk away they let you use their roof top pool and we only paid £9 and pool access was until 10pm.

Fabulous fully-equipped apartment

A lovely apartment in a good location. The staff are exceptional - so very friendly and super-responsive. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook if we venture to Ao Nang again.

Facilities and location were superb. The room is spacious and clean, never thought that we will get 2 bathrooms within a room and the water pressure is so good. Location was on point, 10 mins leisure walk to the beach, next to it is a 7-11 and opposite it is a high rated small local restaurant.

Goede prijs-kwaliteit

Ruim, netjes, fijne bedden, goede locatie, heerlijke koffie en wasfacciliteiten beneden. 2 badkamers ook erg fijn.

We kregen geen schone handdoeken, tenzij we erom vroegen, maar dan moesten we wel voor 6 uur terug zijn, anders was er niemand met een dan moesten we ons afdrogen met de strandhanddoek, wat natuurlijk helemaal niet fijn is.

Czysty apartament z miłą obsługą. Szerokie wygodne łóżka, ogólnie bardzo dobrze urządzony. Na parterze pralnia samoobsługowa oraz kawiarnia. Blisko sklepy, restauracje, przychodnia, night market.

Apartament znajdował się na najwyższym, 4.piętrze, które szybko się nagrzewało, więc klimatyzacja musiała być cały czas włączona. Hałas z ruchliwej ulicy nie pozwalał na wysypianie się, tym bardziej, że okna były nieszczelne.

Appartement spacieux et moderne en plein Krabi.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, l’établissement est bien situé en plein coeur d’Ao Nang. L’appartement est spacieux et moderne avec beaucoup d’équipements disponibles (kitchenette, télé connectée, table à repasser). La literie est confortable. Le gros plus : la laverie juste en bas ! Le personnel très gentil.
